I started seeing Dr. Garent in February of 2017. I was diagnosed with scoliosis which I never had my life. I was frequently treated by Dr. Cook who I preferred much more than Dr. Garent. One day in July I had to settle and see Dr Garent as Dr. Cook was out of the office. I laid in my room for over an hour until I walked out. Not a single person talked to me until I decided to leave. I immediately got in to Dr. Lemmon who I previously saw in the past. He took new x-rays to find that I still do not have scoliosis. Fast forward to today when I got a $500 bill for Dr. Garent. After calling my insurance I found that I never paid my co-pay for 25 visits and that they had sent an EOB to them in April because I had met my max of 20 visits. I was never informed by the receptionists that I had a co-pay or that my insurance only covered 20 visits. After discussing the situation with Dr. Garents receptionist, who had a horrible attitude until I stood my ground, I was able to lower my bill as I was never informed of said information. I've never met a more shady practice and will tell everyone not to go to this chiropractor. read more
