Perhaps the quaintest station I've been to on the outer edge of greater Paris or just ever, I'm not even sure this station is manned by anyone and if the ticket scanning kiosks work. It is however an inevitable but great start to exploring Auvers-sur-Oise...information boards are amongst the first thing you will see at the station and they will start leading you to a walk around this small but beautiful town where you can follow in the footsteps of greats it inspired such as Cezanne and Van Gogh. read more
