If you walk down the stairs, they are behind the stairs. There is no small size. The middle size is only good for a backpacks. For carry on size luggage, you need at least a L size, which is 9 euro for L size. There are bigger sizes, which will cost more. The instructions are clearly stated in the locker room. No staff are there to help you. Credit card is accepted.

Because it is so open, a nice breeze could be felt blowing through, helping to keep everyone cool. From our place on the platform, we could look out a bit into/onto the city of Liège, and the views are lovely. On the platform was a giant sculpture of a Rubik's Cube. I didn't get a chance to look into it's significance, but it was a nice explosion of color amongst all the whiteness. As had been our experience for the last week, the trains all arrived on time, and were fairly comfortable. We traveled from here to Frankfurt. 25/2020

Aside from that, I had someone with me, who could speak French. The machines were there, so. Was able to purchase a ticket but nobody took it onboard the train, so it turned out to be for naught. Nonetheless, this was a large station with multiple shops and was extremely neat, I was pleasantly surprised. This station seemed to have local and trains to take you to other European countries.

I'm sort of used to airports and expect chaos, although it does not need to feel that way. We were here in Brussels just for the day so we did not have luggage which made it much easier. Every employee was helpful in navigating me through the new routes to my train. Plenty of cafes to choose a good coffee. Eurostar was a delayed disater but not the fault of the train station.

From this station you can go to Geleen, Heerlen, Sittard and Belgium. The train station is around 15 minutes walking away from the city center. You have to cross the river Maas for that.

Helaas door de foute info van de stationsbediende onze trein vanuit Aachen gemist. Als deze dame ons goed had geïnformeerd hadden we de bus 350 kunnen nemen waardoor we wel tijdig aankwamen. The good thing about it is that there is adequate parking if you travel there on weekends. During the week however, although there are many parking places, you'll find most taken by those who commute to Brussels for work. Don't come here hungry because although they station is very nice, clean, heated in the winter, it has no cafe for a coffee or something to eat. There are none in the immediate area either that are walking distance.

What's even more convenient, the main bus station is adjacent to the train, so transferring is a breeze. For those who just come off a weary ride, stop by and have a cold beer at the many cafes across the street. For eating, there is only a kebob place on site; if you want more you'll have to walk a bit. Another nice touch is the way the car traffic right outside the station is routed underground, making street crossing much safer. Currently the station is going through some upgrades, so there is a temporary ticketing office in the plaza outside of the main station.
