I recently found a WOMAN who has been a dentist for over 25 years who was nice to me. She just gave me a night guard and sent me on my way. These doctors want us to pay them lots of money and they dont actually want to save your teeth. I know that because the doctors that used to work at this place named Lutrell and Gomillion told me dentists like to have you with bad teeth so they can make money. Don't trust dentist, vets and doctors always. Especially when they are mean to you and don't care about you at all. Like these men acted randomly towards me. As a mom and as a lady? I have never felt such disgusted and disdain as both of these dentist acted towards me just for being late driving in to an appointment. I was shocked the ladies working there for 20 years did not get vacations and bonuses. If the men took over that office go ask them if they got anything for Christmas the first 3 years. Instead of vacations they didn't get anything and I asked them. I asked the short doctor if he gave them anything there is a photo right there of the employees in Hawaii and my previous doctor did that. He said oh maybe we should do something- this was 3 years into their takeover. I have a great woman who has been doing teeth for as long as Gomillion and Luttrel and literally went to high school with their employees. I had my child and my mom's birthday and frankly they could have just said nice words. But only those who are nice and have nice people skills are capable of doing that. It's a gift to a few and a skill learned by many. It's odd when they are not my boss & they can't even care for their own employees openly and brag about it to me at all. Never artificially written. Written by me after getting great care from a 25 year long dentist who was professional kind and wanted their patients to morally and ethically be ok. I think a long time ago they could have literally called and said I'm sorry you felt that way but maybe their mom and dad never taught them to have any manners at all? Who knows. Do better men. They both honor their patients by the way they speak with them and address any concerns. The honest approach to when to put braces on and how long to leave them on made this mom feel like part of the team. When I delayed treatment on one child for six months, they were happy to accommodate the change. The staff are friendly and sensitive to the time. Appointments are easy to make. The multiple locations make it much easier for a busy family to get in- when and where they need to be seen. The offices are always clean and welcoming. Plus, the staff remember to give the kids a school excuse :) Orthodontics are expensive and time consuming. It is a huge decision. For my family, picking Ferris Orthodontics was by far the best decision we could have made. I trusted the office enough to go back and get invisalign myself!

Ferris dismissed the concerns and told me that my dentist was wrong. I've gotten two separate dentists opinions on it, and they both told me the same thing. Ferris Orthodontist continues to tell me that "the two other dentists were wrong and they have done it perfectly" (exact quote). They did not end up offering a solution and I felt like my thoughts and concerns were irrelevant to them. I felt disrespected and disregarded. Definitely not pleased with the service I payed for!

For something that I dread doing, I actually look forward to my appointments here. (OK, maybe "I don't mind going" is more accurate!) I'm not sure what other reviewers' experiences were, but they have always answered when I called, or I've been able to leave a message, which they returned within a day during business hours. The dental hygienists have always been patient and compassionate with my sensitivity. The front desk staff are always friendly. Their system sends plenty of reminders, so I'm in no finger of missing or forgetting my appointments. Billing is always clear, and the charges have always seemed extremely reasonable. We started with Alice taking X-rays. Besides doing a great job on the X-rays I was impressed to hear that they actually checked morning of appointment to ensure insurance covered. Next Kayla started my cleaning. Her history taking was very detailed and her cleaning was meticulous yet gentle. I had been having problems with my night guard for tooth grinding which I mentioned at the start of the visit. Dr Lannom then came in and was able to do some refitting of my nightguard in between what Kayla was doing. Great teamwork and the nightguard feels a lot better. Dr Lannom then did my complete oral exam and noticed some issues for which she sent in De Walker. Dr Walker then proceeded to review the exam and explain what needed to be done. She then did some sort of dental "sandblasting" to get stains off my teeth. After all this Kayla then gently finished the cleaning for me. I was their last appointment of the day yet never felt rushed. With all the extra stuff they did I was there 90 minutes and I know I kept them late and yet everyone was smiling and upbeat throughout. Great teamwork throughout. I appreciate doing all the extra as tough for me to break free for an appointment. I have been coming here for about 18 months since moving out to Leon Springs area. They have been great. They have some days where they start at 7 and other days like today where they stay late. Again really appreciate it to minimize time off work for me.

I had Dr. Walters extract all 4 of my wisdom teeth a couple weeks later. There was a little confusion regarding the chauffeur on the day of the appt; no one ever informed me that my ride would need to be present in the waiting room for the entire duration of the procedure which was a little frustrating but not something I would consider to be a major inconvenience. Post-op had very very little pain even off the pain meds--I even had a complicated impaction for one tooth yet still very little pain--Dr. Walters knows what she doing! Had to make my own follow up appt after the extractions which was a little confounding because no one else ever brought the matter up; generally I would expect that this would have been scheduled before hand or at least the matter would have been brought to my attention by the office staff--all in all, this is a minor issue/mistake and don't believe that this warrants a rating demerit. Both Drs. Klenke & Walters are both extremely professional & highly personable & especially courteous. I would absolutely recommend this dentist office. The hygienist & clerical staff are great! Very professional & efficient. Teri, the financial coordinator is great as well--very clear & patient in planning for the financial aspect of the treatment plan. Very very VERY satisfied customer overall & will def remain a customer; I have my routine cleaning & porcelain fillings appts already scheduled! I make it a habit to know what services I receive and what kind of benefits that are associated with the services through insurance. Yesterday, I received a bill in the mail (first time) saying that I owe almost $2,000. (The bill has no information of any kind explaining where this amount is coming from) So, naturally I was concerned and called the dentist office immediately. This is the first time I am seeing or hearing this amount billed to me. I spoke to a newly hired office employee that explained to me that I had been carrying a balance for almost 2 years for services that were rendered. Everytime I get any kind of treatment or service, I make it a habit to PAY IN FULL the amount that is owed the date services are rendered. If not, then I set up a PAYMENT PLAN to cover any remaining amount the date services are rendered. The young lady on the phone explained to me EOB's that are covered through insurance and the remaining amounts are billed to the clients. My questions were why am I just now receiving a bill? Why are you threatening to send me to collections in 10 days if the bill is not paid in full? Why did I not receive a statement, phone call, or bill prior? Why would I continue to get services/ treatment at an establishment if I have an open balance? Why doesn't the bill show detailed information about what was billed for and why? The billing system that created this document hasn't been updated since 2022 showing the lack of monitoring the billing system has. (Shown at the bottom of the bill) Keep in mind, I received this bill (for the first time) 12/23/24. Two days before Christmas. Judging by the past reviews of disgruntled prior existing patients, it seems that I am not the only one who has had issues with the billing department and the LACK OF TRANSPARENCY through billing. I would never agree to pay for services, NOT knowing the full amount that is due at the time of services. This type of business practice appears to be shady and not forthcoming. This kind of business practice literally leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I feel this experience should be shared…read more I came in for a scheduled cleaning and filling appointment and was later informed the filling would actually require a root canal. The hygienist rescheduled my cleaning so I would not have to wait an extended period after the treatment plan changed. At checkout, the front desk told me the hygienist was not allowed to make that change and that I would be charged a same-day cancellation fee. When I questioned this, I was called argumentative and was refused the opportunity to speak with a manager or someone else in the office. Another patient in the lobby overheard the conversation and made a comment that I had done nothing wrong and the girl treated her similarly. I completed the patient survey and requested a call back to discuss my concerns, but never received a response. I ultimately decided to get a second opinion, and I'm glad I did, as another issue was identified that had not been brought to my attention during my visit. The combination of poor communication, lack of follow-up, and concerns about my overall experience is extremely disappointing. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the patient experience moving forward.
