The dentist did a few tests to pinpoint the area where the pain may be coming from (included blowing air in areas, tapping around with her tool and doing a cold test). She also took an X-Ray and thoroughly explained her findings with me. The next step is to be examined by an endodontist to confirm before moving forward with treatment (possibly a root canal). Unlike almost ALL my experiences at other dentists, she was confident, caring and professional. She cared about getting to the bottom of it and I trusted that. Great first impression. :) It was such a relief to feel that I was in good hands here, because I've had this problem tooth looked at before, and worked on, and I wasted money at other places only to have the same pain that continues to get worse and makes eating/drinking excruciating.

His office is located in west Mississauga,…read morein the Erin Mills area, just west of Winston Churchill and Eglinton and about 6 minutes west of the Credit Valley Hospital (just off the 403). In my quest to find a decent dentist in the area, I discovered Dr. Vincent Strazzeri from word of mouth, as friends and family were really happy about their experience with him. A relative underwent tooth extraction with him weeks ago and sang nothing but praises (again, how many people can say that, really?). I've normally visited on weekends and while it gets very busy, staff are extremely efficient (you don't wait longer than 5 minutes from your scheduled appointment time). In short, Dr. Strazzeri is patient, takes time to get to know you, is extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly, doesn't try to up-sell. I had concerns (and fears) that I would need to undergo wisdom tooth extraction (terrifying, I know), and unlike dentists in the past, he took a look and an x-ray and honestly told me I wouldn't need it. He's very thorough, and really takes the time to address your concerns. Wonderful bedside manner. His staff and hygenists are also patient, kind, and knowledgeable - basically, this clinic has everything you would ever want in a dentist. The clinic isn't very big, and the waiting area is pretty small, but that isn't a concern for me. Also note that they also put your insurance claims through for you so you don't need to file anything yourself. After a couple of visits, I'm a loyal patient. I'd highly recommend this clinic.
