This dental clinic (Garden State Smiles of Matawan) is full of fraud! Weeks ago, I went to this clinic for a mouth guard. This particular lady, made a measurement, and to be honest, the way she did the measurement really hurt. She was pushing it too hard on my teeth and gums as if I don't feel anything. And then after the measurement, I was told to wait outside without even giving me water first so I can wash my mouth! I have to ask first before she gave me! Then I was told to come back after two weeks to get the product. Couple of days before my scheduled pick up of the product, I got a voicemail saying that their clinic will be closed on that Saturday! How would you give me a schedule if you know that your clinic is close on that particular date. So I just agreed for another date of pick up. Saturday, August 27, 9 AM. I was not even asked even if that date and time is fine with my schedule. I just said okey! Will get it on that day. Today, August 27, before 9 AM, I came in to get the product. But I was told to pay the balance first before I can get the product. I was told that it is their new policy! Wow! Since when in America is this the policy to pay first. So I just let them swiped my card. And then I was asked to go to the room to fit the product. I waited there for about 5 minutes and then the one who made the measurement couple of weeks ago, came inside of the room and told me that she "accidentally threw" it to the garbage because it fell on the floor and was broken! This lady was at the front desk when my card was swiped for payment! And because she accidentally threw it to the garbage, I have to come back the following week. I said NO. I would like to see if it was really done because they collected the payment already. You made me pay and wait, and then I will be told that the product was broken. I had the same mouth guard from another dental clinic years ago and there is no way that this will break if in case it really falls on the floor. After minutes of waiting, she came back with a very small mouth guard which is definitely not mine. I asked for a full refund immediately because I am not coming back. I was offered by the dentist for a different mouth guard and this time it will be free of charge. I said NO. This clinic is full of fraud and I am not coming back!!! read more

I always leave an honest review and this is what I encountered as soon as I walked into Garden state Smile.. I was greeted by Christine who had a very warm and cheery personality. She made you feel welcomed immediately and check out her nails.... amazing nail art, then I noticed the cleanliness of the area,It was immaculate, which is very important to me. I was then greeted by Sidrah, the dental assistant, who was also very sweet and kind, and made sure I was comfortable, I have to add that I was in horrible pain the night before from my tooth, I called in the morning to make an emergency dental appointment and I was seen the same hour as that phone call, that's practically unheard of nowadays. I then encountered Dr. Shah who then came into the room with the warmest and gentlest approach, knowing that I was in such pain and very uneasy, she let me know she was going to address and fix the problem and I would feel better immediately, which is exactly what happened, throughout the whole procedure, Dr. Shah would ask if I was OK and you could tell she really meant it. I was totally at ease with her. I highly recommend going to GardenState Smiles if you are looking for a top notch dentist read more

I picked Dr. Chueiri randomly based upon reviews from Zocdoc since I am new to the area. I went in for an annual check-up and I was absolutely AMAZED at the service provided. His bedside manner is very welcoming and soothing. The office is super clean, modern and outfitted with the newest diagnostic equipment. Dr. Cheuiri spent almost an HOUR AND A HALF. He explained any and all procedures that need to be done and how they will be preformed. I will need a deep cleaning of all 4 quadrants as well as some composite fillings. I have Guardian Preferred and with my co-pays ALL necessary procedures that will be completed in 3 sessions will cost me UNDER $600. Overall I was beyond pleased with my visit and will be returning to see Dr. Chueiri for all my dental needs. I cannot recommend him enough. read more
