The grounds are well maintained, management was responsive whenever I had an issue (minor maintenance stuff). I liked that the grocery store was really close. I would definitely recommend checking it out. It was perfect for me.

This is a calm, clean place for living. You have access to grocery stores on foot. Landlord,…read moremanager, and staff are nice responsive people BUT if you are going to live in building "F" (at least first floor) make sure to read this: Usually, when the outside temperature is above 75 (especially in sunny days) this place becomes unusually hot and sometimes is NOT HABITABLE and could be dangerous without a good A/C unit. We have experienced a temperature up to 90 and I am pretty sure it even goes higher (we left the place to save our life so 90 was the maximum we saw!). I think really large windows in the living room are the main reason (thick curtains don't work, don't try it!). Make sure that a good A/C unit is available in your apartment or you're permitted and able to get one (the windows are Jalousie type so installing the unit could be a double trouble or you have to spend more money for a decent portable one). We couldn't stay at our home, where we were paying rent for that as a habitable place, many days of May and June. I complained several times to the landlord and he politely refused to find a permanent solution for this problem and eventually told us to get an A/C unit if you want. It wasn't worth it for us to get one because we only had about one month left of our lease. Instead we checked out the place two weeks earlier and moved in to a new place! We had good days in Meadow East but the last weeks ruined all our good memories. I really hope the landlord figure out a solution (at least after reading this)!

Management has been crap lately ever since Amanda and Maria left. Good luck with your cable and AC…read moreworking too. Multiple residents that live here that are friends of mine also have had to face ridiculous circumstances here, it's not just me. They charge you a fee ($25 weekdays, $50 weekends) if you get locked out of your place of which is stated in the contract you signed. In my situation I locked my keys in my truck and I simply needed someone to open my apartment door so I could get my spare key to my truck to then get into my apartment. I would understand if my key was lost or broken why they would charge me a fee to open my door, BUT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THE DAMN KEY IN THE FIRST PLACE, it was right there in plain sight undamaged.

Rent, while it is for a nice place, is absurdly high and doesn't even include electric. They will attempt to nickle and dime you with all kinds of late fees and charges, even when you're paid up, which ends with the day-to-day office workers constantly fixing the mistakes of whoever does the books for the corporation. They will not budge on any charges even when they're unreasonable, such as charging $1600 (yes, sixteen HUNDRED dollars) to "buyout" a lease that you haven't even began yet, yes just a renewal. Also tried to back charge us for electric bills over 6 months prior because someone on their end messed up our charge. Don't waste your money, you'll leave broke and disappointed once the novelty of paying an arm and a leg for a private bathroom wears off.
