Dakota and his team at Diamond Cut Outdoor Solutions have been amazing. I reached out to them for a quote for mow service and heard back on the same day. Dakota was super friendly and accommodating to my availability to schedule a visit to give us an accurate quote. He texted to let me know he was on his way and showed up on time. The pricing was right on par to what we had expected. While he was here, we discussed future plans for our landscaping. He wasn't pushy and trying to sell us on anything. He was honest about the type of work he offers and offered to provide a quote for the mulching and left the door open for future work when we are ready to do it. Needless to say I have been really impressed and happy with him. He and his team were here this weekend to do the mulch work and it turned out fantastic. The skill and precision the team used to remove the tree without damage to the house, fence, and other objects in the are was outstanding. The crew that came to grind the stump took the time to grind many of the roots radiating from the stump and even used an ax to remove some the grinder couldn't reach. The Lopez crews went over and beyond to provide excellent service, and their price was substantially lower than my other estimate. I will be using them in the future as my preferred tree service.

He explained how he would do it, gave me what I considered a reasonable price, and we set up a time. With other companies I've had bent gutters, cracked sidewalks, fence and deck boards. Not with Julio. He and his crew were careful and meticulous. Everything was either handed down or lowered by rope. It was cut up, hauled through the alley, and chipped at the curb. He showed me before and after pictures of the roof. And when they left, my deck and sidewalks were cleaner than when they got here. On his advice, I even agreed to remove additional bushes to provide better access, something I hadn't originally planned to do. Despite this, they still failed to remove the main tree that prompted the entire project. Despite this, it not only left me with higher cost but added future work to be done and even more expense. Tree Care Inc. has poor communication, unreliable scheduling, and disappointing customer service. I would not recommend them based on my experience.

During the project he moved an expensive piece of outdoor furniture and did not move it back after completing it, because of where and how he left it, it ended up being damaged and having to be replaced. I provided all the information to him about the original cost and the cost of replacement (which was less than what I originally paid), explained my attempts to get just parts for it from the manufacturer instead and the video of it being damaged. He never responded to my request for remedy of the damaged furniture when I sent him the proof of price. The rock work was okay. He changed the scope in the middle of the job and didn't finish one section of it, so I got pretty confused on how the final invoice amount was arrived at. From the amount of work and materials we removed from the quote midway through the project to the final product, it didn't seem quite right. Also, he didn't put the landscaping fabric under the edging, so I have a ton of unexpected weed control I have to manage now when the purpose of installing the rock was to be lower / easier maintenance because, again, I have a disability that affects my mobility. He's a hard worker I just wish he would have made things right regarding my damaged property. He told me his insurance doesn't cover wind damage and did not offer any other remedy. If he'd worked with me to replace the furniture that was damaged, I would have given him a higher rating, but as it is, this is my honest opinion of the value, quality and overall customer experience I received. I can't recommend this business at this time and will be letting the division of Yelp that oversees contractor recommendations know as well since I found him through them.
