First of all, if they used the proper coolant, the additive is already in the fluid, was it a gimmick to bilk us out money? Now I'm worried that it may cause damage to my engine. We LOVE Alex. He has consistently provided excellent service at a reasonable price. Unlike our Toyota dealership... he will not up sell for the sake of up selling. He is busy enough he does not need to fleece his customers. Toyota said to replace our entire exhaust system for 2500$ when it broke down... they do not repair... only replace. We were told that we cannot trust "JOBBERS" and it would be risky to have it repaired by anyone other than the dealership. Took the car to Alex after a friend suggested we have him take a look.... he fixed it for 100$. All it needed was a spot weld. Took him 45 minutes and that was 3 years ago. Car still working perfectly. Highly recommend. I think the only credit card they take is Amex. .. or cash. Double check your payment options when you call. Not the prettiest place... no waiting room... but there are a couple of restos nearby if you need same day service.

I brought my car in for some minor scratches that I was nonetheless concerned could rust. I also wanted to have the car rust-proofed. In passing, I told the manager, George, that he could go ahead and fix any minor scratches that he thought would be worthwhile, as long as the cost overruns were kept to a minimum. The guys kept my car longer than initially scheduled and the entire process cost a few extra hundred bucks, but when I got my car back it looked brand new. We are talking a 6 year Honda that has criss-crossed the entire continent. They made it look absolutely brand new. For an absolutely pittance, I got a brand new car. Bottom line here is that if you are looking for a fast and dirty service, go somewhere else. But if you want the job to be well done, thorough, and professional, than come to Park Lane Auto Body. I still cannot believe how my car looks. Great job guys! Marko
