He came out on a very cold federal holiday and patiently listened to my issues and we developed a plan of attack on things to do now vs. things when warmer weather would help accommodate some repairs. He made swift work of adjusting the spring, garage door alignment, garage door opener cable tension and even increased the clearance of the garage door to the interior of the garage to facilitate smoother operation. He has earned my personal recommendation - I look forward to being a repeat customer once spring rolls around. Thank you Paul!

I called JLM and while they had a pretty full schedule for the day, I was asked for my contact info and told that I would be called when there was someone in my area. Fair enough; I will wait my turn in line and that's expected. I was called by Grant about 30 minutes later, and he stated that he'd be available in 20 minutes for the work. I graciously accepted. Upon arrival, Grant took assessment of the situation and got right to the job. New springs, tested the cable reels, door operation, reprogrammed the opener, and lubed everything for quite operation. All during the work Grant provided pleasant conversation as well, which was a bonus. He didn't try to sell me anything other than what I needed. I highly recommend this company for its service, professionalism, and reasonable prices.

I had already looked up the prices for the springs which were around $85 a piece. So to try and charge $200 for one spring was ridiculous. I then called Overhead Door Company just to compare. It was a similar service charge, but the person explained that the service charge was the labor cost and the only other charge would be for the springs which were $120 a piece. I appreciate that there will be a mark up on parts to cover costs and I also appreciated the way she explained it to me. She set up an appointment for the next day. The man called and came out as promised, replaced the springs in about 30 minutes. It actually was a very easy process and I needed that today!! I did consider replacing the springs myself, but looking back, it was well worth the service charge and the little mark up on the parts to have it done professionally. I would highly recommend Overhead Door Company for any garage door/ replacement needs.
