And also they did not give me any paperwork except the bill by email I'll eat this bill but I learned a lesson.

We are new to the Ivoryton area and needed someone to service and repair our double garage doors…read more Yelp came up with several firms, but Danibul was top of the list and first to reply. "Daniel" (the owner) asked a few pertinent questions, offered his availability and quoted a price for the required service of a basic inspection, "tune-up" service, and minor repair to safety elements of the doors. The most important issue, was to program both doors, their remotes and our car's remote for convenient operation. Daniel arrived on time, inspected our doors and system, reported his findings and made one recommendation to improve the overall operation. There was an acceptable increase to his quote for the "improvement" and once all was agreed upon, He and his assistant systematically began the work, pointing out that all of our equipment was top of the line operators, hardware and electronics, and that when he was finished, we should never have any issues with the system. The next day, (AS LUCK WOULD HAVE IT) the system would not perform as promised, with doors not going up or down as expected, the remote controls not controlling the doors as they should have, and the safety feature preventing the doors from lowering, did not allow one door to lower at all unless we held the wall switch button to lower until it came all the way down and stopped!!! When I called Daniel back to explain, he said that he had done all the work as I instructed, and couldn't understand what happened without returning to see for himself. He returned as promised and checked out the entire system again, and we both realized I had misinformed him and that both outdoor keypads, their remotes and the car's remote had been cross programmed and could not perform as expected, NO MATTER WHAT WE TRIED TO DO SINCE THE INITIAL WORK WAS DONE. OOPS ! ! ! ME BAD ! ! ! So, within 15-20 minutes, Daniel laughingly reprogrammed everything to function with each door's keypad, remote and wall controls and our car, perfectly synchronized, flawlessly. Each remote now will control each of the two doors, up and down, and both simultaneously when ordered. WELL DONE DANIEL! YOU ARE OUR GO-TO GARAGE DOOR EXPERT, and will be highly recommended here on YELP! and to every one we know and love here in Connecticut. P.S. DANIBUL is located 1 hour from our location, so Daniel spent 2 hours drive time each time he came out to save our day and would even not accept a gratuity. He said he would be back in two weeks with the new door but never showed up. That was over a month ago now. We tried calling, leaving messages, texting and Facebook messaging over and over for days. He refused to answer. We then decided to go to the address he gave us and it was an abandoned house. So, like what another reviewer on Google said happened to them, he stole our money. Thank God we paid through PayPal so we were able to file a claim against him and will be able to get our money back. We are also going to call the police and file a report with them as well. DO NOT hire this guy. Complete scam artist. **** We had actually posted the above review last week but deleted it because Kurt called us and BEGGED us to. He magically ended up returning our MANY calls after seeing the review we wrote. He promised he would come on Wednesday (today) and put our door in and kept asking us to take the negative review we wrote down. Well, here we are and still no kurt, no money, no door and no contact from him at all. We had to call yet again looking for him and when we got a hold of him he said he got "held up" at another job so he can't make it. At that point we have had way more than enough of his BS stories. Then he recorded our entire conversation without me knowing it and posted it on Facebook for everyone to hear. He then proceeded to share my business profile on Facebook and starting spreading it saying we are racist for no reason. We are filing a report with the East Haven police department anyway just to be on the safe side and also so that there will be a paper trail in case this guy tries this with another person. At least it will be documented. We also filed a report with the better business bureau as well. Again, DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY. He is a very scary guy. you disagree with him at all and he will try to ruin your business or job. if you decide to anyway even after reading all this, don't give him any money upfront.
