I had 13 years with no physical activity at all until I found Team Ganas on instagram. I think it was God who helped me find them on social media... my try out day was horrible I couldn't lift not even my own body weight, but with coach Jay , Josie and Emily now I can lift 230 pounds and the best thing is now I can sleep better, no hot flushes, I'm feeling more confident ,strong and happy . The community is awesome, making new friends , making memories and hoping to get better and stronger and reach my Goal . Thank you Team Ganas and vamos por más read more

I started my journey with Team Ganas back in October 2025 at 400 lbs. When I reached out, all I knew was that I wanted to make a change, but I had no idea where to start. At my trial consult, I finally had to face what I had tried ignoring for so many years. Every movement made me feel the weight of the years I had neglected my body and my health. I was scared it was too late, but Coach Jay believed in me and knew he could help me. So I took a chance, invested in myself, and put my trust in him. That same weekend, I met Coach Josie and we went over my goals and everything I needed to know. Hearing about her own experience with Team Ganas made me feel even more comfortable and excited. From the beginning, I felt heard, understood, and supported. My goals were simple: to be able to fit in a ride at Disneyland with my nephews or walk down the street without feeling exhausted and out of breath. A year later, after 80 workouts, I'm down 113 lbs! I'm doing things I once only dreamed of. I can walk for hours now. I no longer avoid fitness; I seek out movement and genuinely love working out. But one of the most unexpected parts of this journey has been the community. I've met an incredible group of women with similar goals and completely different walks of life. Our training sessions are filled with PRs, laughter, conversation, great Latino music, and beautiful aesthetics! If you've made it this far, please do yourself a favor and book the trial session. I want as many women as possible to experience the self-love, confidence, and pride in themselves that I feel today! read more

Since joining in April 2026, I've lost 20 lbs, and I'm at a weight I haven't seen since before the pandemic. Best investment I've made in myself. What sets this gym apart is the coaching. Whether you're picking up a barbell for the first time or, like me, you've been taking classes for over two years, the coaches are paying attention. They fix my form, and they push me to go further than I thought I could. The space itself is welcoming and fun. I walk in feeling comfortable and leave feeling stronger, and I've never once felt judged. The community of women here is what keeps me coming back: encouraging, motivating, and genuinely inspiring. read more

I don't even know where to begin because Team GANAS has truly changed my life. Walking into their semi-private training program, I thought I was just signing up for another "gym" experience, but what I found was so much more. From the very first session, I felt seen, supported, and guided in a way I never expected in a group setting. Even though you train alongside other women, every workout feels like it was designed specifically for me. The weights, the movements, the pace, everything is tailored to my ability and growth. Jay and Josie don't just watch from the sidelines; they're right there with you, correcting your form, pushing you when you need it, and reminding you that you're capable of so much more than you think. What sets Team Ganas apart is their heart, positive energy and positive words. Energy and positivity is everything and they care deeply, not only about your fitness goals but about you as a person. They create an environment where you feel safe, encouraged, and empowered. It's more than a workout, it's a community. I've laughed, cried, and celebrated milestones I never thought I'd reach, and I've done it surrounded by women who are just as determined and supportive as I am. I never imagined lifting weights would make me feel stronger in every aspect of my life, but here I am, healthier, more confident, and proud of what I'm accomplishing. Team Ganas isn't just training my body, they're transforming my mindset. If you're looking for a program that goes beyond the ordinary, where you'll be pushed, supported, and loved through the process, this is it! This review is long overdue cuz I joined TEAM GANAS a year ago! Let me start by saying I never liked working out and couldn't remember the last time I had been in a gym..but life happens and I needed to make changes to better my health! I was lucky to have come across Team Ganas on IG and finally made an appointment to go in! Working with Jay, Josie, Michelle has completely changed my fitness journey. They keep me accountable and challenge me in the best way!! I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident than ever. I have lost weight which was the main goal and continue to work on my strength. They really take the time to explain exercises and make sure my form is correct! I couldn't do this without them and truly appreciate them and all their hard work! Joining the TEAM was the best decision I made! 1 year anniversary and looking forward to more with my TEAM Ganas family!! read more

I joined Team Ganas because I noticed my mom looked snatched a few weeks after joining. I was hesitant because I had hurt my hip, knee and shoulder during home workouts, but they take it all into consideration when building your workout plan. There's also an InBody scan machine at the gym that you can use to track changes to your muscle/fat/weight. Coach Jay, Michelle & Josie are really the best coaches ever not just because of their genuine personalities but they really know what they're doing. I went from being completely inactive the last year to being able to lift way heavier than I thought was possible for me. Also, all my pain went away! You just have to make the effort to show up for your workouts. It's definitely the best investment I could've made! read more

I can't say enough great things about Team Ganas and the incredible community they've built! From day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and challenged in the best way. They don't just guide you through workouts -- they push you to level up in ways you wouldn't do on your own. The accountability and encouragement I get here has completely transformed my consistency and mindset. What really makes Team Ganas special is the community. Everyone is so uplifting, and it feels like we're all in it together -- cheering each other on and celebrating every win, big or small. I've grown so much physically and mentally since joining, and I actually look forward to every session. If you are on here, that means you are ready to take that step into your stronger, healthier, badass mujer era but you just need that extra confirmation or that extra little push and let me tell you, you are in the right place because coach Jay and his Team Ganas are truly a journey that you will be super thankful you started. Before I started with coach Jay and his team, I was doing more of HIIT classes but I wanted to start focusing more on strength, feeling confident and getting comfortable with weights and weight machines, and being surrounded with individuals that will cheer you on and hold you accountable. And it is so amazing that those individuals are mujeres because we truly are magic! So how did my journey start? Probably like many of you, I came across his videos on Instagram and I decided to give it a chance and when I saw that he was located right up a block from where I work, I took that as a sign! I reached out and got a response so quick that it did not even give me time to talk myself out of it. I went in for a consultation and we went over what my goals were and how he would work with me to help me get there. From taking your body metrics, to helping you not only build a meal plan but also understand how to view food as fuel and not as restriction, to helping you understand proper form, to helping you feel comfortable and strong to PR, to just being a kind and beautiful soul, I found a place I kept going to consistently. I gave myself 6 weeks to try it, but let's be honest, the welcoming team that he has, the attention to detail, the care for each mujer and passion in his craft (or should I say crafts because did you see he is also a singer and dancer?) that coach Jay and his team have, has made me want to continue my journey and stay consistent. I know taking that step can be scary and nerve-wracking, but coach Jay and the team are there 100% to guide and teach us on all levels and I hope more mujeres can experience this amazing journey! read more

After a cross country move finding my home with Team Ganas has been nothing but the best decision I could ever make. Getting back into fitness and as not easy, especially dealing with social anxiety. Jay not only made it a safe environment but ignited my motivation to get back into this healthy journey. He has built this community that only is a safe space but its energy is unique and real. Down 30+ lbs, physically changing, with a new motivation and focus to get in the best shape. I know I couldn't have done it without the support of Team Ganas. read more

I've tried going to a gym time and time again and I either a) got bored and stopped going or b) felt overwhelmed with where to begin. But not with Jay. I've never been this excited to go to the gym. Ever. But I roll out of bed at 5:45am excited and ready to rock my workouts! I love that I can easily access my program via a training app, broken down by day with exactly what I will be doing, how much rest I should be taking between sets, and different means to track my progress. And the community... there are no words. Jay's built an AMAZING and supportive community with Team Ganas. You feel it in the gym. Lastly, Jay makes working out FUN. Even when you curse his name seeing bulgarian squats in your workout split. ;) If you've felt lost in the gym or are looking for a supportive group that honestly becomes like family, then Team Ganas is IT! You won't regret it read more

I began training with Jay in August 2024, and I've continued ever since because it has truly become a lifestyle for me. Jay is an incredible coach! I've worked with many trainers in the past but never found what I was looking for until now. From day one, the vibes felt perfect, and the community is so welcoming. If you're looking to join a friendly team with a vibrant Latino community, I highly recommend joining Team Ganas! read more

Joining Team Ganas is honestly the best decision I have made. It is more than just a workout group. It's a community of amazing women who all have similar goals they'd love to achieve. Coach Jay is such an amazing trainer. Since day one he's always been very supportive, understating and is always pushing us to lift heavier because he knows how strong we are! We also have coach Josie who is such a sweetheart and is there helping us out during our sessions. Before joining Team Ganas, I had never worked out or thought I'd enjoy it. Fast forward to almost a year of joining and I feel so much stronger and more confident in myself. My training sessions are always something I look forward to and I can't wait to see how far I will continue to grow with the help of the coaches. Thank you Jay and looking forward to many more sessions to come! read more

Jay has a real talent. I would say to call him a trainer alone would be inaccurate to the skills Jay possesses. He is also a businessman, life coach, and artist. To mention a few. I am a 28 year old Latina woman and as many people know it is lovely to be around a community that just gets you. The culture Jay cultivates with his athletes in Team Ganas is truly something that he has poured his heart into. Not only did I begin to build better habits within nutrition and the gym but I built a better relationship with what it means to be active. This was the most enjoyable experience for me. It is contagious to see someone going after their dreams, having such real life experiences and echandole ganas in everything he does. I am now taking on a big life change, accepted a promotion to move with a top American tech company to Latin America, the conversations I had with Jay over my time in his gym are a big part of why I aspired to go as far as I am going now. Building a culture like this takes care, knowledge, guidance, and real authenticity. Thank you Jay for everything. And to those of you reading that are considering joining his team. Do it. You will not regret it. read more

If you're looking for more than just a gym -- this is it. @teamganasla has completely transformed the way I approach fitness. It's not just about showing up to work out; it's the support, structure, and genuine care they provide that makes all the difference. From the moment I joined, I've felt seen, supported, and held accountable in a way I never have before. They walk you through every step -- from customized meal plans that include flexible food choices (so it doesn't feel like a punishment), to access to a meal prep chef that makes staying on track effortless. The bi-weekly Zoom meetings and check-ins keep you grounded and motivated, and the community they've built creates this fun, friendly, and judgment-free environment where everyone wants to see each other win. This isn't just about fitness. It's a full lifestyle shift -- and Team Ganas is with you every step of the way. I truly wouldn't be where I am without them. read more

I had never worked out in a gym before starting my training with Jay. I had thought about getting a personal trainer for a very, very long time but I let my lack of confidence in the gym, time, budget, etc. get in the way. I started in April 2024, and I can confidently say training with Jay has been life changing - both physically AND mentally. My training sessions have become my mental sanctuary. All the life/work chaos and stresses quiet when I'm training. And physically - I feel stronger! I feel more confident. It has been invaluable to have Jay walk me through every single work out, learn the proper form, push me to hit PR's that I could not have gotten on my own in such a short time. Now that I've started my fitness journey, I regret not starting earlier - but better now than never. If this resonates, take the first step and reach out to Jay...best decision you'll make. read more

25lbs down and 10% body fat lost in 6 months! Never did I think I could do this by strength training at the gym. I'm a nurse and trying to figure out what exercises to do after working or on my days off was a challenge for me. After working long shifts, I was too tired to figure out what to do and how to do the exercises. In the past, I would seldomly go to the gym, go on the treadmill, and my diet was inconsistent/unhealthy. Coach Jay has made staying consistent with my nutrition and the gym easier. Don't get me wrong it's a lot of hard work, but once you get in the routine of it, it's easier to stay consistent. Coach Jay has gym sessions planned for you and helps you do the exercises properly. He also has two amazing trainers, Coach Josie and Coach Rae, training us as well. Not only do you get great workouts, but he's also built a Latina focused fitness community where we get together outside of the gym, get to know each other, and keep each other motivated. Overall, would definitely recommend training with Team Ganas 1000%!! It's worth the investment in your health read more

I loved working with Jay! I have always struggled with my motivation when it comes to fitness and working out. When I started working with Jay it was awesome because he showed me proper form, and how to manage workouts in between our sessions. I had been to other trainers before and it was basically monkey see monkey do. I never really understood what I was doing, even though I thought I did. Jay really taught me, instead of just training me. He helped me understand form and how important it is; he educated me so I have a deeper understanding of how to work out for the rest of my life.
