Toy collection today, I brought in roughly $500 worth of pops (looking to receive around $365) which I felt was fairly reasonable considering I've spent thousands of $ at this store. Anyways the store "policy" is they give you 30% total value of what you are trying to sell them!!! I was looking for around 70% which again I felt was reasonable. The moral of the story is that if you want to sell anything to this store, expect to get a small fraction of what it's actually worth! This was extremely disappointing and I'm shocked. THIS STORE HAS LOST ALL FUTURE BUSINESS FROM ME!!!

And it's a neat place to just roam around too, to see eras of different games that you might remember as a child. I loved how they had each area separated by system, so you could see games and accessories from whichever console might have been your favorite as a kid and are looking to relive that fun, or are interested in starting to newly collect. Everything in this store was excellently laid out, if I didn't already say that enough. That is not always the case. We've been to similar shops (in terms of what they sell), and they are so cluttered and not shopable at all! There's none of that here. So if you're looking for a great gaming shop with every era of console and genre, definitely check out 8 Bit Hall of Fame next time your'e anywhere near them!

I have to say I am disappointed with this place. I went by last week since I saw the ad about them…read morebuying bulk cards etc. , and I understood going in that I would get the lowest price possible but I wasn't interested in money just credit. Long story short we didn't come to a deal which was ok and I purchased a few raw cards I liked. That day I saw a very expensive raw card that I wanted for my PC, which is very modest as I'm a new collector and don't have anything crazy. I did a little research as it would be my first big Pokémon card purchase for a single card. Laughable for some but for regular guys like me that works a 9-5, with 4 kids and is willing to spend real money on something like this, that is trying to get into the hobby as a newbie & trying to find something to do with his son while they're in different states. Sorry for the back story but it really bothers me with what happened. Fast forward today I called the shop to ask if they still had the said card available and asked what their best deal will be and told them that I saw the same card, even graded in eBay but I rather deal with them as they are local. The card price was $156 so I offered them $140 as that was the price of the one I was looking at on eBay with proof of the listing and trusted seller. The young lady that helped me over the phone, which was sweet, said she'd have to ask her boss and I said ok. Came back and said "no unfortunately they are stuck at $156!" I didn't argue with them or anything just said thank you. You may ask what's bad about this?! Now let this sink in, a place that is suppose to be a place for collectors new and old to come in and find cards to help them complete their collection while still making a profit and run a successful business says no to a $16 difference! A real cash offer for a customer that had already spent money the week before on raw cards and was willing to continue to go there and bring his kid during the summer when he has him to make more memories and add to his collection. I left 3 stars because the staff is friendly and the shop is very well organized and put together but after this interaction they lost a customer and I will make sure other "beginner" collectors know the truth about shops like this. The greed is insane and overpricing of products makes hobbies like this one not enjoyable anymore. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this really bothered me to the core, especially stating you're a collectors haven and treat your customers unfairly and like if their business doesn't even matter. Shame on your company, I hope you guys learn from this one.
