Game King in Corbin is run by a manager who makes the whole place miserable to deal with -- he's…read morerude to customers, constantly talks down to his own staff, and creates a completely toxic atmosphere. He gossips about employees, shows blatant favoritism, all while acting like customers are an inconvenience. The store itself is filthy, unorganized, and full of broken arcade machines, and everything is wildly overpriced -- often 40-50% above market value. They even try to bribe customers with a "10% discount" if you leave them a five-star review, which is laughable because 10% barely touches their inflated prices. This shop feels dishonest and sketchy from top to bottom, and it's clear the manager's behavior is the main problem. Save your time and money -- there are far better places to shop than this mess.

I went to this business and no one acknowledged me for the first 15 minutes at least. The cashier…read morestood behind the counter and was speaking to another customer. They were friends I believe but reguardless I stood here for more than 20 minutes while they discussed video games. They began laughing and talking and I went unnoticed for the entire visit. I had plans of spending quite a bit of cash there and just had a very general question. It was the tall oversized icky looking man with a patchy beard. I even asked him once for help, and I am quite soft spoken but reguardless he looked right at me as I spoke, and then looked away just like he didnt see me. I thought once that i had died and became a ghost. ‍‍‍ These people will never get my business again

My fiancée and I waited over an hour at the London, KY GameStop for the new Mega Evolution ETBs,…read moreonly to be harassed by other customers in front of the cashier while she did nothing. We each picked up one ETB from the shelf (no signs saying not to) and told people ahead of us we'd give them up if needed. Instead of addressing the harassment or the group that cleared the shelves, the cashier falsely claimed she had asked my fiancée for hers back (she hadn't), then escalated and kicked us out right before our turn. Completely unfair, humiliating, and a terrible way to treat long-time customers.

But not too many places in the back roads So when we spotted this IGA we were hoping they had a hot lunch counter like so many other IGAs we have been to. No lunch counter but they did have a public restroom. We decided to buy food to have a picnic (in the truck since it's freezing outside today!). What a great choice! Much healthier than finding fast food stop later. We found a sliced ham and got the bread and cheese and mayo for sandwiches. For some fresh veggies carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and apples. We had a great lunch. The folks who worked there were nice! The store was clean. They even have a hardware store inside wirh the grocery store. Paint and parts and even hot water heaters!
