I like how their sections are relatively organized by category, although it can get a bit overwhelming with just how much they have. Everywhere you look there's display cases loaded with figures & bookshelves filled out. They have the best selection of comic books in south Florida, by far. When it comes to quantity & variety they have a great offering. Horror, superheroes, sci-fi, anime; they have some of everything. They keep a nice stock in their weekly release section & carry a lot of sought-after series. While they don't carry every cover variant, they do a good job at having at least a couple for most issues. The workers are usually pretty friendly. They offer help looking for items in their massive store & will point you in the right direction if you have any questions. I've never once had a bad experience in all the years I've been visiting. As good as they are, I have 2 complaints. First off, they're sometimes a bit overpriced. Whether it be an action figure or certain comic, there's been times where I've found them pricing things $2-$15 over market value. While get it's a business, I hate finding something here only to realize I can get it online cheaper. I'm ALWAYS for supporting local businesses but unfortunately it dissuades that. Lastly, sometimes I'll look for a series to start & they'll only have issues #2 & on. While it's not that big of a problem, I always grab issue #1 before any others so this'll cause me to skip out. Usually, however, this doesn't happen often. Overall, Tate's is the place for all your comic & collectible needs.
