This newsagents is has it ALL!!…read more It has an array of magazines from film, beauty, celebrity gossip, various hobbies, cars etc, similar magazine arrangement to WH Smith. Because of the diversity of races in Wembley high road, they sell all the black magazine's, and even have the rare ones, plus they sell Asian magazines as well. They also sell, birthday cards.... black ones as well. They also sell GCSE books. They sell the usual paper's and chocolate and crisps. They also have a guy selling phone cards to call abroad. Their is also a mobile phone shop inside as well, they sell and repair Mobile phone's bought a charger from them for a fiver! Their probably something else they sell that normal newsagent don't, Ive just forgotten. Its soooo good this Newsagent I have found, myself spending an hour or so reading their magazines although your not allowed, they never say anything. When in Wembley next which is rare, and I happen to be on the High road, I will pop in.

There is a decent selection…read moreof offer considering the shop's size, from mainstream fiction to humor and gift books at knock down prices. I have managed to get hardback books for as little as £2. The condition of the books varies but all are on good enough condition to make use of and you definitely get value for money. The store's layout is very clear and everything is organised making the books you're looking for easy to find. If you are going to visit the shop I would recommend taking a short cut through the shopping centre to avoid being bugged by the charity chuggers which line the main street on the route to the Oxfam Bookshop.

Buy books cheap and give money to charity…read more Can't argue with that can you. A little Oxfam bookshop just along the road from the Oxfam music shop just behind the Ealing shopping centre. This is a cracking little find with a good collection of first editions and special finds. There must be a lot of globe trotters in Ealing because there's always some really good travel novels and guide books. It's defiantly worth popping in to see what you can find.

So what to do? Come to this little assortment on Portobello Road. Like Oxfam Originals, Oxfam Books is another great idea. It's cheap, cheerful, the books are well organised and in pretty good condition. By buying here you also know you're helping a good cause as of course all the proceeds go to charity. I've bought some great finds, from cookery books to paperbacks that have only recently been published. Definitely worth a browse if you are coming to the market.

Normally, once a month I pay these guys a visit and I never leave empty handed…read more I love this little shop, from the 20's jazz they're playing in the background to the super bargains you get on books, comics and video tapes. The books are in good condition and normally if you buy one, you get one free. The same deal goes for the video tapes ( 99p for one) and I buy loads for my kid. Last time I was there I bought 5 books for only £6. If I were to buy them from WHSmith (I did the maths on their site) the total cost would have been £40.50 for the exact same books!!! Craaaazy!!
