Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!

This place blew me away. The service was phenomenal, fast and very attentive. I didn't get a cocktail this time but the drinks looks amazing. I decided to try the lobster roll and it didn't disappointed. Plus nowadays you cant lobster less than $50 so was surprised this was only $35 with the amount they gave. Even the fries were delicious, house-cut and fried perfectly. This is a perfect place for a date night, girls night or just a nice dinner to treat yourself too. Only thing is there isn't much parking. I would definitely be back next time I'm in the area. If you haven't tried yet do yourself a favor and go!

Dirty martini was excellent, Kumamoto oysters and all accompaniment's were delicious. Where they fell short...we ordered salmon crudo at the same time that we ordered oysters and there was a very long delay between the two, our waitress even came over twice to reassure us that the crudo was coming. But...our entrees were brought out before the crudo. kind of defeats the purpose of a cold crudo when you're eating it with your hot entree :-( We were comped a dessert, which we would have ordered anyway...to add insult to injury, my snapper was overcooked and dry! DH said his scallops were delicious, but lacked the promised orange flavor. Funny/not funny, eating the crudo left me disappointed and wishing for a better experience. I actually continued to think about it when I got home, it bothered me that much. Not sure what the restaurant could have done differently...as they say, timing is everything! $216 + tip = $258.19 for dinner for 2...I should not leave disappointed.

The deviled eggs had candied bacon which had good flavor- gave them a sweet kick. The spinach dip was amazing- very creamy and tasted great with the pita bread. The service was good- bartender was friendly. It seemed like they had a fair amount of patrons who frequent the place.

The whole place has such a laid back, welcoming vibe, and it's refreshing to find somewhere that feels a little more grown up and relaxed without being packed with a bunch of young kids. I placed our food order at the window of Proper Burger, and soon after my return to the table our drinks arrived. The drinks are very good, creative and boozy. I tried the Tequila Old-fashioned and a margarita. Both were delicious! The food from Proper Burger was really good as well. We had a great couple of hours and left in a good mood, with full bellies. After reading some of these poor reviews posted for 86 Forks, it comes to my attention. Why would anyone finish their meal, pay for it, and then take the time to go online to post a bad review? Why not take the time before hand to ask what a certain dish or meal is - its flavor profile, spice(s), heat, etc.? We did ask the chef and she was more than happy to take the time to explain the dish's concept and let us taste prior to ordering. Read all the good and the bad reviews and ask yourself: 1. If unhappy with the dish, why clear your plate? 2. If not completely satisfied, why pay the bill? Why? Because it's simply not true. People like this are never going to be satisfied or happy. Never. Try 86 Forks for yourselves. Don't be afraid to ask the servers or better yet, ask the chef to explain the concept or allow you to taste something if you're unsure. Be adventurous and make up your own mind - you will not be disappointed. Please remember, this is not a Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Philippine, Italian, Mexican, etc. restaurant. Rather it is a fusion of the best flavors, spices, food pairings, and textures from all these cultures presented in a creative and distinct manner. Recommend the Bulgogi Egg Rolls and the Miso Cream Gnocchi & Edamame.

Opinion: Heated from frozen and precooked. 3. Chicken Kung Pao Fried Rice was soggy, had zero flavor and was overwhelmingly salted. I would have preferred a 3.99 rice bowl from the freezer aisle in Publix over this garbage. 4. Pensacola Spritz cocktail was almost entirely sugar and tasted like a Shirley temple.
