This was amazing! We came for the Family Day Special (three person minimum) and it has been the best value for our money this whole trip! The kids have done VR, the Cirque O show, and arcades, and this has them all beat. They have different cars for rent and all the stuff you need to make your own if you want. The cars they gave us were a little touchy around corners so it does take a bit of skill. I was afraid 1hour would be too long but, as I am writing this, I am considering paying for another hour. They have two racetracks and the kids were on one. Some other adults we didn't know were on the other track and they were laughing and enjoying themselves as much as our kids were. Kids get free toy cars depending on how long they rent cars and the owner let them choose. Chat with the owner to learn more about his history and the history of the shop. He has won tons of awards for his own racing! The lap counter runs on DOS on an old computer and is connected to a dot matrix printer! Check the website for hours and calendar. I am sad that we can't have a birthday party here but it is definitely something worth doing with children if you get the chance. Shoot, if I am ever in Vegas with just adults, I will come back!

We usually have a go to company, but unfortunately, they didn't offer a bounce house with a slide inside and so glad they didn't because we were able to find this gem of a company. Bounce Above the Rest really took care of us!! They made booking so easy. Not sure about you, but I am an introvert through and through, so if I avoid having to call then that's a huge WIN in my book. Their website allowed me to book time and date and pay the invoice all in 1 click of the button. Always kept me informed and checked in with me the day before. Provided rules and set of tips to make drop off easy. The icing on the cake was that they offered extra time without the extra pay and I am truly grateful they did because she was able to give it a hug goodbye the next day. As I clung to my husband and the the edges of the rink for support and stability, I still found myself having an amazingly good time at Down & Derby Roller Skating Disco. This Roller Skating Disco is held at Gold Spike every third Wednesday of the month. There is no cover and roller skate rentals are free. All you have to do is sign a waiver and hand over your ID in exchange for some skates. It's basically FREE fun. Roller disco attire is encouraged, and plenty of people took this to heart. People-watching kept me plenty occupied. The music was surprisingly good. The outdoor DJ mostly played 90s hip-hop like Easy-E's "Cruisin' down the street in my '64" and Biggie Small's "Hypnotize". Got me right in the nostalgic feels. Roller Disco starts at 9PM - this is not the time to show up fashionably late. The line to get skates gets insane by 10:30PM. We arrived at 9:20 and only had two people in front of us. :) Alcohol prices are average for downtown. Bartenders give all alcohol out in plastic cups with a cap and straw for your skating convenience. A small sized draft beer was $4.50. One of my friends said they paid $8-9 for a simple cocktail. All in all, Gold Spike's Down & Derby Roller Skating Disco is as good as it gets! Even better if you legit know how to roller skate lol.
