Some of the worst customer service at the gun sales counter that I've ever experienced.

I just bought a Vortex Venom red dot sight from Game Masters and everything went right. First, they were the only one's in the country that actually had this sight in stock, and only one of them which turned out to be a floor demo. I'm from Connecticut and searched everywhere -- Optics Planet, Amazon, Vortex's own website -- Nada! It's on back order everywhere, usually for months, probably because it's one of the hottest red dot sights available (and the Coronavirus, of course). Then I came across Game Masters. I called and spoke with a great guy (sorry, forgot his name) who assured me that although this was a floor demo, it was absolutely mint, worked perfectly, and came with every accessory that a new item would come with. He had gone to get it while I was on the phone so that he could provide an honest assessment. And then he said that if I didn't like it for any reason, I could return it with no problem. Shipping was free, and I received it in four days. It was exactly as described. If I lived in Illinois, I would surely shop there regularly. read more

Holy cow! I can't believe a place in Quincy, let alone this place, carries Specialized bicycles! I am a roadie (1500 miles last summer!) and am thrilled there is another choice in town. They even have a certified mechanic who I can tell is really passionate about cycling, just from talking with him (even if he is a crusty mt biker. Lol.). I got a good vibe from him and would definitely let him wrench on my bike, next time I need something done outside of my skill set and tool limitations. I give this store only three stars because of how they treat him and the bike dept. I also got a vibe that they don't really care about the bike department. I understand their bread & butter may be hunters and 'gun nuts', and they definitely went big, going with Specialized, but I feel they could put a little more effort into the bicycles, other than a 'let's see if this works' attitude. Apparently they have had bikes since last April, but I just found out about them recently! Do they not advertise this? This could be huge if they promoted it more. read more

Great deals on firearms, friendly and knowledgeable staff, they only have the one store but they have the selection and prices of the "big box" chain stores. Highly recommend checking this place out. read more
