This is a great shop. It's on the Pinnacles Industrial Estate, next to the Total Petrol Station and…read morehas free parking at the front and the back. Inside you will find a huge range or adult films (R18) and also adult toys, magazines and sexy undies. They sell the herbal 'viagra' tablets and at cheaper prices than on the internet, including the new 'Raging Bull' that I can highly recommend. The staff are friendly and will always give you a discount if you are cheeky enough to ask. There is even a back door for those too shy to use the front!

The shop can be quiet alot of the time, and some of the stock remains in the shop for months. The staff are friendly and personal and experts in the field of video games in general.

They seem to do a good trade in second-hand consoles and some of the rarer, collectible stuff and sell lots of Japanese imports. If the shop isn't too busy, they'll happily plug in a game for you to try, or just let you have a go on whatever they've been playing when they didn't have customers. The owner has been trading games in Cambridge for as long as I can remember, must be 15 or 20 years now. Customer service is very good, if you do buy a second-hand game which doesn't work properly, they refund or replace with no fuss at all.
Entertainment World
With the decline of Game and Gamestation, where will we all go to buy our games? I, for one, prefer…read moreto browse the shelves at shops to find those hidden gems, and the Internet has always erased that opportunity for me. It's a good job we have Entertainment World in Birmingham, because it fills the gap of selling those long sought after Playstation, Megadrive and Nintento games that you never managed to buy the first time around, because you were too young, or you weren't even born, or you majorly regretted trading them in. (Of course, Game and Gamestation don't fill this gap, and only sold modern console games.) Entertainment World is like heaven to the gaming geek, and now with a second shop opened at the Custard Factory called Retro-World, it seems as though places like this are here to stay. Hurray! The staff inside are very friendly and knowledgeable, and they'll help you out as much as possible: so never fear to ask them a question. I bought Echo the Dolphin from here for £10 on Megadrive. I'd only had Echo the Dolphin: The Tides of Time before (which was actually my brother's)

Movies Video Rental

The ground floor has sci-fi, action, comedy, drama and children's, whilst downstairs has TV box sets and foreign language films. There's a little section by the counter with highly recommended European cinema films or documentaries and the staff are very knowledgable and refreshingly honest about your choices. The standard renting time is only one night, but most customers are local, so this isn't usually a problem. The prices are quite good, as are the opening hours. It's very refreshing to enter a video shop with such a melange of genres and films that stretch back many years, rather than just the latest Tom Cruise offering. You're not bombarded with advertising, giant cardboard cut-outs or deals on sweets; it's quite simply a movie shop that does movies. Fantastic.

The shop is very small and not really that tidy but it serves its purpose well. I've never had any problems there at all and have even been able to sell some of my unwanted films there for a bit of extra money. They are very steep with the overdue fines though a lot more than they used to be and that sometimes can be quite offputting just incase there is a real legitimate reason as to why you couldn't return the film on the specified day.
