Their quality is fresh, tasty and excellent. At various times of the year you will find various types of meats. Their luncheon meats are reasonably priced and much better quality than from the grocery store, plus that they carry the more unusual kinds such as the prosciutto di San Daniele (heavenly!). Their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Also, these days they offer a type of 'loyalty savings card' with a point system, which you can deduct from purchases. A fun part is every Thursday morning, when the movable food cart of the local fish market (see my review for Ebbers Visboer) is placed right next to their butcher shop -- making it easier to shop both types of proteins for your dinner. When your eyes adjust to the light, you can see the multitude of seating; there's small tables big tables, chairs, loveseats, a rocking chair, a small bookcase with titles solely from Clive Cussler (?), and some magazines. It's all very atmospheric. Onto the coffee. There's different ways and kinds available to choose from, the aeropress, v60, chemex. I chose the Rwandan coffee through aeropress, and boy was it delicious. You get a card with information about the coffee in both Dutch and English. It's all served in a classy way, and the staff is friendly. If I lived in Arnhem, I'd be going here a lot more often. Sadly, I live more than an hour away. I think that says enough about the kind of place it is. Note: I don't think the cave is accessible by wheelchair, but I could be mistaken. The coffee is great enough to just get it on the go too, but sitting here is very relaxing.

Allow yourself to be tempted to try taste-testers: their flavor pallette encompasses more than you can dream of, with some incredible combos like the Sacher Torte which includes a faint hint of apricots and adds a layer of depth to their chocolate. Other interesting winners remain the yogurt mango and tiramisu -- wonderfully blended for the perfect fashionably enduring tastes. All the fruit flavors are sorbets so vegans, get your cone on! Parking remains difficult. We ended up going to the shopping center, on the right, right before you arrive at their locale and you can cut through. Do pay to park; we've made that mistake and it makes for an expensive icecream stop (duh). So glad to be back and enjoy a summer filled with my fave icecream flavors.

Please don't get me wrong, we don't personally hate ALDIs. This is not a pleasure experience for my husband and me. We have seen how it has become more tacky and complicated due to a lack of work. In the bakery, there wasn't any freshness left, just a big mess! I never understand why some tea flavors had been hidden off the shelf most days. My parents-in-law love it here; they consider it their favorite grocery store!
