We were in need of a bio break and some snacks, so whatever historical precedent led to the handwritten sign was pushed aside and - being that we were not violating this tenant - ventured inside. The bathrooms were very dated but clean. The soap and towels were well stocked. The store itself offers a variety of the basics and, although a bit cluttered and disorganized, can be navigated in a timely manner. The check out area is packed with more tobacco products and lottery tickets I've ever seen - it looks like this is what draws the steady stream of local clientele. Adjacent to the check out was a fully stocked case of fried foods and sausage links. This seemed popular with the patrons in front of us in the line as three of four of them ordered food from there. In the back, there was a small restaurant buffet, but I hadn't seen anyone partake. The service was efficient and friendly.

More importantly, they were just as clean as the store itself. It has a taco bell adjacent to it and there is a little coffee area with two booths where you can sit for a bit. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We had to spend a couple of hours at this location due to an minor accident but the staff never harassed us and let us sit inside with absolutely no problem. They also had two tables outside to sit at outside but it was quite muggy that day in Tennessee.

Observation: My WAZE gas price report, made several months earlier, was still the latest for that location! The prices are higher than further down the road. However, my dog seemed to enjoy checking his favorite pmail stops near the gas station, so I raised the "stars" from 1 to 2. Summary: No improvement over the past several years. The drinks are always cold here, and unlike some store the snacks are always fresh. You can buy Tennessee lotto tickets and I've seen breakfast sandwiches served in their heated deli case. Price-wise, it's standard, and like most places, you can pay at the pump.

The men's room had 2/3 urinals taped over (broken) and a couple of broken stalls. Gas prices were above average ... and well above some competing stations a few miles down the road. These problems have existed for several years (as noted here). Too bad Exxon does not require this station to meet standards.

They had purchased the RV on Saturday, and by Sunday night, they had no AC. We could tell that they were struggling, and it was over 100 degrees in Memphis. There was no way I was going to be in my RV, cool as a cucumber, and watch them struggle. Tommy was referred to us by Dillon at Southaven RV & Marine. Tommy came out and, seeing the situation, stepped up and replaced their converter on their rig. Tommy knew this couple was struggling financially, and we paid for the repair. Tommy donated his time and didn't charge for installation or a service call. He truly helped people out in a time of need, and if we are ever in Memphis, Tommy is our guy. When was the last time a company stepped up and helped people in need? Tommy and his team are trustworthy and respectable individuals. May you continue to be blessed, Tommy, for all you did today for that couple.

This is the second time this year that we have had a problem with our RV and the second time Tommy…read moreMoses has come to our rescue. The first experience was a broken spring which in turn had broken the propane line. The second was a broken valve in the Nautilus water system. Both problems created difficulties since we are full-time RVers, but Moses was able to work us into his already crowded schedule and we were able to get underway sooner than we had expected. Tommy has done a wonderful job both times, has gone over and above our expectations, skillfully completed the jobs and all for a reasonable price.
