It was a great pleasure working with Ross to renovate our kitchen in our upstate home that we've…read morehad for nearly 30 years, and done very little to update. Ross came up with a terrific design to combine the kitchen/dining/living areas into a fabulous open living/working/entertaining space that I only wish I could have done 10 or 20 years earlier!! He was patient with all aspects of the process and pretty much kept to his schedule (!!), once the place was ready for his install to begin. His workmanship is flawless and he is deeply committed to what he does, and being sure that the client is fully satisfied. I certainly hope I never have to renovate another kitchen, but if I did, I know whom I'd call!

Forget the box stores and kitchen design centers! We visited them all, and I can testify that you cannot get the craftsmanship and custom touches that Ross provides at this price with anyone else. He worked with us to design the layout, he built and installed custom cabinets, and did the tile work. He even made us a beautiful and unique gate that slides into the peninsula that we will use as a doggie door so that we can keep our dog in the kitchen. Our tween daughter was so impressed that she said she wanted to move into the kitchen (she was only half joking). Ross was a pleasure to work throughout the entire project and he helped us coordinate everything that we needed to do. Ross also has a wonderful attitude and great taste and sense of design. We highly recommend Romberworks.

When we bought our 2900 sq ft condo in Saratoga Springs we needed help in transitioning from the more traditional decor of our last home in CT to something more contemporary and reflective of our new life as retirees. Janet was so easy to work with and brought "fresh" ideas on how to integrate new furniture and accessories with the decor we brought with us from our worldwide travels. Over a period of 18 months she helped with all aspects of furnishing various living spaces - design, purchase, and install. It was so nice to arrive on a weekend and find a room fully completed - the big reveal just like on HGTV. We recently purchased a second home, a new townhouse, in Virginia, and used Janet's expertise again to help us furnish this new property.

I worked primarily with Abigail - especially during the ideation phase. She is sweet, understanding, and full of brilliant ideas (and she keeps to the budget). Even from our first meeting she gave the impression the office would turn out even better than I'd hope. I wasn't wrong! Robbie (who worked with Abigail to put it all together near the end of the project) is super cool and charming, and he knows his stuff! Both have excellent craftsmanship. What was once a room I dreaded entering at the start of my workday and couldn't wait to leave at the end of it has turned into a space I actively look forward to being in. This room now feels warm, inviting, cozy, and comforting. I wish I had taken some before photos! My wife and I will for sure look to work with Gil Mill Homes on future projects. Go hire them now!

Susan was wonderful…read more She seemed intuitive, attentive, genuine, and patient--exhumed a wholesome energy and made me feel comfortable. I could tell she loved her job and cared about her clients. She came prepared for the house visit: brought me a printed notebook with bagua maps laid over my floor plans and took notes for me so I did not have to. We chatted and walked around the house for readings. She also did an energy cleaning at the end of the consultation. The whole session took a little over 3 hours. A few days later, she sent a follow up email with more notes and links for subjects we discussed. Susan was also very mindful of my germaphobic tendencies and offered to bring extra clean clothes and socks to wear inside my house. When I asked her questions, she took her time to double check with her notes before answering. It is a lot of new information to absorb. I appreciated her due diligence. Her method was different from the previous fenshui consultant I tried. It's more natural and less hoaky, which suits my style more. For the price range, it's best to consult with her over the phone and review which package suits you. It's very convenient for me that she takes credit cards!

After looking through a few practitioners' websites I called Susan, and I'm happy that I did. She was very well prepared and made a great number of thoughtful suggestions and recommendations, and was super easy to relate to. Considering the amount of time she was here, I feel that her rates are extremely reasonable. I will also say that since our consultation a few weeks ago many things in my life have shifted dramatically for the better, perhaps it was from the house clearing+blessing? Not sure, but my own self study has become more enjoyable too, and I would definitely recommend Susan if you would like an expert opinion. Best wishes with your house! :)
