The piece I got was actually hand made in Colorado and not locally, but there were plenty of local pieces there to choose from. They have jewelry, paintings, pictures, pottery, etc. I wish I had found it sooner before I spent my vacation budget. The lady at the counter who I'm assuming is the owner was really nice as well and wrapped my mug up for me and offered to gift wrap it. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Blairsville.

My son was delivering a paint to a show in Blue Ridge, GA. When he dropped it off, the show would not allow it because I used the wrong frame (my fault completely). There was a very narrow window (2 hours) to change the frame or lose the opportunity to be in the Georgia Watercolor Society National show for 2023. 4elementsart came to the rescue and reframed the piece in less than 1 hour. I had just bought nice little handmade earrings and then I saw this incredible chair. It was made by a local mountain area artist, talk about having character. And they delivered it, very kind considering how big it is. $250 was nothing for such an individual piece of work. And the earrings were quite modest, $15, I'd recommend to anyone to stop in and hunt through the various artists' wares.

We checked this place out after returning from the scenic railroad excursion around 2 p.m. It is…read morelocated facing the railroad tracks about 2 blocks south of the train depot. It is beyond the new county courthouse building it what appears to be the prior courthouse. Admission is free, though donations are encouraged. Given that Blue Ridge is a fairly small town, the scope of their arts building was quite impressive. When we visited, they had a gallery exhibit that took up the entrance hallways plus what was the main courtroom. Many of the paintings were very good. My impression was that they host rotating exhibits like this periodically. There are certainly towns much larger than Blue Ridge that have nothing like this facility for their arts communities. In addition to this main exhibit, they also had an arts supply store in the building, as well as a kiln in the basement for pottery (including classes). They also offered classes in upstairs rooms, on various arts-related topics. I believe the town also hosts arts events a few times a year (like plein air sessions and festivals). If we make it back to Blue Ridge in the future, we'll likely return here to see what new exhibits are on display. I'm giving it a 5-rating due to it exceeding expectations by a wide margin.
