The last thing I expected was to need rotator cuff surgery during a pandemic, and believe me, I was…read morenot happy to be going in person to see doctors, but this clinic is doing everything right, and I do feel as safe as I think is possible these days when I have to go to see my surgeon or my physical therapists. I agree with everything Leah O. said in her review about Dr. Aimee Klapach, and indeed, Leah's review is a big part of what led me to Dr. Klapach. Some people might think it's strange to find a doctor on Yelp, but I trust my Yelpers!! Before I went to see Dr. Klapach, I had been seeing doctors at FairView University for the better part of last year. I wish I had gone to see Dr. Klapach right away. I doubt she would have made me wait 8 months and jump through numerous hoops before telling me that surgery was inevitable. I can't ever get those eight months back, but thanks to Dr. Klapach, I am slowly getting back my range of motion, and I believe my pain is already less than it was before surgery, most of the time. I just had the surgery in December (which went great, by the way! They do it in an orthopedic facility, not a hospital, so my Covid fears were lessened), so it has only been a short time, and recovery for rotator cuff surgery is notoriously slow. But Dr. Klapach and her assistant Bradley are with you every step of the way, going above and beyond, to the point where the surgeon will actually pick up a phone and call you. Yes, I just about fell on the floor the first time that happened. Dr. Klapach really cares, and so do her staff. I am also really happy with the physical therapists on site. They do a great job, and are available by phone or email if you have questions about the exercises. Side note: They have recently re-branded to Allina Orthopaedics, but they are still the same great clinic with the same caring staff.

Look, I'm not gonna waste your time with all of my injury details. If you're looking at this page,…read moreyou're probably broken and vulnerable, and you just need to know the facts. Fact: "Expert" doesn't begin to describe Dr. Aimee Klapach, MD. She does 270 knee surgeries a year, a fact I kept repeating to myself when I was having anxiety spin-outs in the weeks before my ACL reconstruction surgery. That depth of experience matters when you're literally trusting someone with your limbs. Fact: She's a super conservative surgeon, bless her heart. She never tells me what I want to hear. She tells me what I need to hear. I don't want a risk-taking, skydiving bro giving me health advice. I want someone who's gonna tell me that "If it were my sister, I wouldn't do it" when I ask if I can fly to a wedding a few weeks after surgery because there's a small chance I could get DVT and die. She obviously didn't love disappointing me. But she takes her job seriously enough to be a firm advocate for my healing and my body, and at the end of the day that's what I need. Fact: Her work is excellent. I'm 9 weeks out from surgery and my knee is healing beautifully. I followed her directions and the result is that nothing has gone wrong: no infections, no mistakes, no risks, no mishaps. Just steady improvements day after day, which is all I can really ask for. Fact: She has an incredible team working with her. They called me the evening after my surgery to check in- which at the time felt like an incredible kindness- and when I have questions they always call me back within a few hours. Her scheduler was wonderful, and made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for surgery. I've always found it easy to book appointments, and Dr. Klapach goes to a variety of locations, making it easy to find a time and place that works with my schedule. I feel so lucky that I landed in her care, and can't recommend her enough.

I wanted to give this place one star but it's really one doctor I have a beef with. The…read morereceptionists, technicians, and physical therapist I worked with are top notch. The first time I went there I saw Dr. Becker. I arrived on time, was taken to get my initial x-rays promptly, and finally taken to the exam room. FORTY MINUTES of Muzak later Dr. Becker strolls in, pokes and prods for about five minutes, and the visit ends. I went through six weeks of PT. All went well. Yesterday. I go back for my followup with Dr. Becker. X-rays happened fast and friendly and on time. I'm in the exam room. After thirty minutes of no Dr. Becker, I leave. There was nary a mention of anyone running behind schedule, nobody popping in to say there was a delay, nothing. Just the horrible light hits of the 70s through today on the overhead speaker. Make me wait excessively once, shame on you. Make me wait excessively twice, shame on you. I will take my bum knee, ankle, and wrist elsewhere and will not be returning.

I came into the clinic with two sore knees and a wonky elbow. They took x-rays, Dr. Becker talked…read morewith me for about 2 minutes, gave me $300 in braces that have been completely unhelpful, and attempted to schedule 3 MRIs because all of the aforementioned work told them nothing. I suspect they like to take as many tests as possible regardless of the likelihood of successful diagnosis and have stock in the company selling the $250 knee braces. I felt scammed.
