The owner, Dan Owens, instructs these classes often and will absolutely crush your upper and lower body in the best possible way. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every person in the room knows what to do and helps with form if necessary and welcomed. Another great perk is access to the locker rooms and saunas. I feel the entire facility is kept clean and organized. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.

Poor communication, rude and unfriendly attitude The people…read moreat the front desk are very rude and customer unfriendly. I had 2 free passes from the advertisement they did on Facebook. Day 1 - I faced no concerns and they also confirmed that I have another free pass that I can use. When I come the next day, they refuse to honor the second day free pass. They did not even bother to see my free pass email that was unused. They showed no commitment about the confirmation their own staff gave me that I have another free pass. The manager was not present and did not pick up the call. They are just making fool of people with false information. Waste of time. Beware of joining them. The only reason I was planning to join this gym was because of proximity to my home. I would rather go to other gyms who are much more friendly.

I'm a paying customer and should be treated with respect like others…read more I recently canceled my OneLife Fitness membership after nearly six months of attending 5 days a week. During that time, I spent an average of 1-2 hours per visit and did my best to be a respectful member--reracking weights, wiping down equipment, and being considerate of other people in the gym. The reason I canceled wasn't the equipment or the facility. It was the customer service. The towel situation became a constant source of frustration. Instead of greeting members or acknowledging them when they scan in, the front desk staff often appear more interested in avoiding eye contact than providing service. If you want a towel, don't expect anyone to offer one--you have to proactively ask for it almost every time. What made the experience even worse was being repeatedly questioned about whether I was a Premier member after requesting a towel. After coming to the gym nearly every day for half a year, being treated like I was trying to get away with something became exhausting. There is a respectful way to verify membership benefits, and then there is making paying customers feel like they're being challenged or scrutinized. What bothered me most was the lack of basic courtesy. A simple "hello," eye contact, or acknowledgment when members walk in shouldn't be difficult. Instead, I often felt like I was inconveniencing the staff by asking for a service included with the membership I was paying for. Over time, I couldn't help but wonder whether my appearance played a role in how I was being treated. As a minority with visible tattoos, I often felt singled out and scrutinized in ways that other members did not appear to be. While I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, the repeated questioning and lack of basic courtesy left me feeling that my race and tattoos may have influenced the assumptions being made about me. I'm a combat-disabled veteran. The staff was unaware of my veteran status until I raised my concerns about how I was being treated. Once I mentioned it, their attitude noticeably changed. I was suddenly informed that they offered a VA discount, and the interactions became much friendlier. While I appreciate businesses that support veterans, it was disappointing to see a difference in how I was treated only after revealing my background. Respect and professionalism should be extended to every member from the start, not based on whether someone qualifies for a discount or has a particular status. I chose not to accept the discount and proceeded with canceling my membership. Ultimately, I realized there are too many gyms competing for my business to continue paying for an experience that consistently left me feeling unwelcome. That's why I canceled my membership and chose to take my business elsewhere.

Ok, Planet Fitness has earned all the jokes at its own expense by promoting it's "judgement free zone" while at the same time judging the "lunks" who frequent traditional gyms. Gone are free weight bars, squat racks, and heavy dumbbells. So it's definitely not a lifter's gym, but this location does its part in providing a good, clean environment to get a workout in. The full time staff are super friendly and do great at providing quality customer service. The part timers, not so much. This gym is super clean and they do a lot of work to keep it that way. My only real gripe is they only have one pec deck fly machine, which is actually two different exercises, and is almost always in use. One more machine would make a big difference. I wouldn't recommend the personal trainers at this location, I've seen them really do a disservice to their clients when it comes to teaching proper form on machines, cables, and free weights. For $20 a month the membership includes tanning, hydrobeds, Massage chairs and red light therapy. That's a great deal. This has been my first experience at Planet Fitness and I think the staff makes this location a great pick. Great people, good gym.

I hate hot summer weather 90s+, but I absolutely love these infrared saunas. I'll take it over the hot outdoors any day. Also, you can workout 24/7. So even if you have a weird schedule they're always "open" for members. Worried you get bored easily? This is for you! There are a multitude of sessions to choose from and the virtual instructor videos for each change out pretty often on a set rotation. The saunas (yes, saunas!) are set up with ISO workouts on one side and HIIT workouts on the other. There are 8 saunas. Your ISO workouts consist of Hot ISO, Hot Buns (glutes and legs focus), Hot Bands (arms and upper body focus), Hot Barre None (Barre without the bar), Hot Core, Hot Pilates, Hot Warrior, and Hot Stretch. All of them will give you a full body workout and trust me you'll earn the burn. For HIIT you have Cycle, Blast, and Thunder (rowing). All of them are great. Quick 15min time blocks so you can easily squeeze in two workouts in 30min. I personally like to do a few HIIT sessions or a HIIT and an ISO, but they're all great on their own. There is also the FX zone with weights and machines for you to add additional strength training if you desire. I've lost over 120 pounds over the last three years and though I do have some loose skin I'd credit the consistent workouts and infrared sauna with helping to lessen that. I'll come back and add photos of the business to an update soon! Don't wait, call or stop by during "open" hours to schedule your first free session.
