Idk, man. The movies are fine but everything else is kinda not good. The food is absolutely mid outside of the popcorn which is fine. I guess. But it's such a dated theater. Terrible seats, not very good screens. I don't necessarily expect IMAX, but damn. My biggest complaint is the movie selection. They don't play many indie or smaller films, mostly just the big blockbusters, and that's disappointing when places like Sudbury get pretty much everything. Especially compared to North Bay. Honestly shocked they're playing Terrifier 3. A bit later than other theaters, but better than nothing. read more

Located in an old plaza next to the Tiger Direct and No Frills, this Cineplex is starting to show some wear and tear. As the biggest cinema in town, with 7 rooms, it still has not expanded enough to handle the crowds very well for a Saturday night. I arrived and out of the three automatic ticket machines, only 2 were working. A third of the arcade machines had "out of order" signs stuck on them. It took about 15 minutes to order at the food stand. On a late Friday viewing, it was okay, but the foyer is definitely uncomfortable for anyone with an inkling of claustrophia. read more

This was the shiny new thing in North Bay a couple of years ago, squeezing out the local competition. But now it's starting to become clear that this is just another one of those franchise locations in the Bay that have gone forgotten about and the local management isn't sure how to keep up with it. It's still nice though, for now, so enjoy it if your in the Bay. Wish they had a more extensive arcade area since they are (I think) the only place in North Bay with an arcade now. read more

This is great way to watch a movie. the atmosphere of watching a great comedy with a large group, is the only way to watch a movie. The theatre is always clean, in this theatre the sound is compressed a little too much. Otherwise a great experience. Paying for the movie with scene points is even better. read more

The location needs to update as it is pretty much the same since it opened minus the ticket box office as they removed it. The 3 auto ticket machines don't work half the time. The seating is still woven material that easily gets wet and stains. The popcorn is either hard and old and/or has too much salt in it to eat it all. I don't know if the locals in North Bay know that most cinemas have changed last decade and do not look anything like this location that screams it is stuck in the late 90s/early 2000's. The actual movie was fine. Not that you can compare this location with a Landmark cinemas location from southern Ontario, but the management needs to look how cinemas are in other towns, that have automatic pop machines with 150 different flavours, reclining chairs, arm rests that raise up all for the same ticket price. I gave this review 2 stars as the movie scream viewing was okay. read more

This is (in my opinion) the best cinema in the north! But I am not saying its "perfect" though because there is some downsides to it. PROS: - Excellent staff - Easy access to the mall for to wait for the movie - Theres a birthday zone for kid's birthday parties CONS: - The arcade needs to be updated - Food court has long lines If your stopping at North Bay, if you have time, go visit this place, you might be suprized! read more

Has decent movies but the management has lost touch with its customers. Concession is ridiculously overpriced and arcade is not maintained at all. At least 2 thirds of the games are broken and never get fixed. They could reach out to a whole teen demographic and boost their overall buisness by lowering prices of movies and snacks and upkeeping their arcade. But what can you do with the franchising? As long as the management goes home with a fat paycheck and the seniors and friday night dates from up the hill keep coming i don't see any changes in the future. North Bay needs a new theater and arcade. read more
