He was in the hospital for 7 days before that sent him to a short term rehab. The nurses NEVER got him up out of the bed for the entire week. They have been hounding me for 2 years. For bills that were paid in 2024. It doesn't matter that I send receipts. It doesn't matter that I sense bank statements. It doesn't matter that I send the statements from my f.S a. They will refuse to contact the providers themselves to see if they have been paid. They will continue to hound you and offer you payment schedules for money you don't owe. Now let's talk about providers. I saw three different gastroenterologists for the horrible issues I was having. They just kept saying that I needed to have a colonoscopy , and that everything would be fine then, it wasn't. They insisted I pay them $1000 up front, then tried to double charge me. The doctor at the local clinic told me to "take Metamucil " for my explosive and unpredictable diarrhea. He asked me nothing about my diet. Nor did the gastroenterologist that I saw. After dealing with this for a year and going from doctor to doctor within the Northeast Georgia system, I finally went to a chiropractor in county who accurately diagnosed me with a ilioecal valve that was not functioning properly. I haven't had a problem since. Avoid all these quacks at all costs. They are still hounding me 48 hundred dollars that I don't owe them.

My recent experience with an endoscopy was terrible. Other than the front desk staff, the nurses and staff were not friendly and clearly in a hurry. Very few even made eye contact, leaving me feeling like a leper. I never saw the anesthesiologist. No one explained the anesthesia process to me prior to the procedure and I didn't even meet the cRNA until I was in the OR. Her only words to me were to mock my Yankee accent. When I was rolled into that room, I felt like I was crashing a party. The staff was more concerned with one another than with their patient. I didn't see Dr. Reddy until the OR either. Following the procedure, I was told that they had taken biopsies and they would let me know when the results came in. I was patient and after three weeks decided to call thinking that was longer than I've ever waited for any test results. Eventually nearly a month following the procedure, I got a call from Dr. Reddy apologizing because he had been on vacation and somebody dropped the ball yada yada yada. The bottom line is a very disorganized poorly and not very compassionate staff left me with no confidence whatsoever in this practice.

My first appointment should have been a red flag-- the doctor did not show up and I was stuck with a well- intentioned, but rude nurse who informed me that I would need an endoscopy. The doctor who performed this ( not the doctor who didn't show up -- I never heard his name mentioned again) was professional and did a great job of informing me after the procedure. But I then became a part of their system that points to money making and NOT patient care. It took 3 weeks and persistence to get final results and then I was told the doc who performed the endoscopy was booked for the next 4 months, but his nurse could see me. She was sweet but I later found out she had just received her advanced degree in Family Practice several days before joining the practice. She was not that informative, simply handing me a sheet of paper listing the GERD diet ( potatoes, white rice, cereal!!!). She had me on medication way too long and when I tried to see a doctor I kept getting the same issue that the doctor was booked up for several months. I was ok for a short while but when I started having a reaction to the medication she insisted I continue taking it. I went off it cold turkey and became much worse. She even told me to take strong medicine over the counter that caused even worse symptoms. I went to another doctor who had me go through more tests because I was so sick ( and lost considerable weight). I eventually ended up at Emory and the doctor there quickly diagnosed what had happened triggered by the medication. BTW, that nurse is no longer at the Gainesville practice. They have the nurse s treat you and seeing a doc tajes a long tine-- meanwhile you could be getting worse. I would recommend another practice.

I was, am, in such a dark, deep depression and she was set on belittling me and hammering me with questions quickly so she could meet her 45 min pt/Dr schedule. she exhibited no intention of mentioning the past few years of my life. she was only interested in my past history looking for a quick fix. her dr notes did not mention my past 5 years of shoulder replacements, sciatica, disc problems, back pain injections, and finally spinal fusion- plus a very long rehab from all the procedure, yet she mentioned my use of controlled substances. she stated I was a "poor historian ". I would love to skillfully, quickly question her about her past experiences and just when she felt "depressed". she was cold, harsh- i can picture her in a uniform- not a MD jacket. she called in prescriptions that cost 700.00 to 1000.00 a month costing me many days of phone calls to receive a affordable option. this also cost me several days of no treatment. this is not a caring mental health center. the mental health crisis call has not yet met this facility. money is their business- not the compassion of individuals in need of help. my depression lingers daily- I will keep you up to date about the continuation of this institution. this I am sure will be quite a saga without a good outcome.

What a great staff. Never like getting these anyway but they made me feel comfortable and at home and I was able to cut up with them a bit as a prep me for the procedure well keeping the office safe during the pandemic with limited patients having exposure around each other. Arrived an hour early and filled out the paperwork I got called in a little early to meet with the anesthesiologist and will review the protocols and procedures. Excellent staff made me feel comfortable and I never was excited or stressed but what was about to come. I always love it when the anesthesiologist says you can count back from 100 and you really don't even make 99 so I was happy to wake up after the procedure only taking 20 minutes to complete and another 15 minutes for the anesthesia to wear off so I could leave. My son waited in the car as all other drivers or people waiting were forced to do to keep the lobby area clear of crowds. We were right next to Zaxby's so he simply grabbed a bite to eat waited in the car and I was out in short time and on the way home. I had no uncomfortable experiences and waited in till the next day to eat a pretty good meal because I was starving! I haven't got the bill yet but regardless this was a great staff great location very clean very happy with their service. Highly recommend!
