I had damage to the lock mechanism of the rear of a Subaru wagon, which prevented it from locking. The nice service guy asked if I was concerned with appearance or just wanted it to lock. Really, I just want it to lock. He got a hammer and a mallet, took apart the back panel and pounded it out until the lock was cleared. I was super surprised when he did not charge me!! He even gave me a general estimate on rust repairs (more than I paid for the car!!). I am SO happy I asked a long time resident where to go in Warsaw! They dealt with the insurance company, which was a promising idea because when I was trying to deal with them it was, well, let's say heated. Auto Insurance Companies would prefer you go to junkyards for replacement parts, even though my car was only 7 months old, and Automotive Unlimited obviously takes pride in their work and helped inform the Insurance Company that wasn't going to happen. They were good with updates on parts with the supply chain issues because of the pandemic. Getting the estimate was so thorough, explaining what would need to be replaced, taking a lot of photos, and informing me of the areas they weren't sure of until they pulled damaged parts off to see what needed to be done that we couldn't see. The safety sensors work perfectly again, which is a relief. I'll just say I didn't expect the process to go so smoothly after I spent a few weeks working with the insurance company. It was a relief and seriously, their work is excellent and they made the experience easy. I trust them completely.
