Just wanted to update how pleased we are with Song Bird Studio and Kaila our sons teacher…read more Kaila is wonderful. She has been kind, flexible and understanding and is truly a great teacher in every sense. The Studio has moved up the street since my last review and we also attended the annual recital first time since Covid, so I should mention how nice that was! It showcased all the students (piano and voice) and I enjoyed hearing all the performances, as did my family. I Highly recommended them if you are looking for music lessons, give them a try!

I rented a pair of speakers (+ stands), microphone, iPod adapter, and tuner (+ all needed cables)…read morehere for about $55 in December 2008. My then-fiancée and I were planning a very DIY wedding and we didn't want to hire a DJ. Looking online we were starting to think that we were going to have to spend a lot of money to rent an audio setup that would accommodate our needs. One of my wife's coworkers suggested we try Libertyville Music, so we called for an estimate and were shocked to find out how affordable they were. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I picked up the equipment the day before the event, and my family returned it the day after. Couldn't have been easier. Oh, I should mention that the map displayed in the sidebar gives the wrong location for this business. Libertyville Music is located on the southwest corner of Milwaukee Ave and Lincoln Ave.

Every week for 5 years, I drove my son 20 miles so he could attend piano lessons. During this time, he learned how to read music, play classical music and learned about music history and culture. Ms. Bajon is a professional pianist who takes her job very seriously. She encourages my son to always do better and teaches him the beauty of classical music. I've sat in on numerous of my son's lessons, and Ms. Bajon is patient and a wonderful teacher. Just by talking to her, you can tell how much she loves classical music and how she wants to transfer her knowledge to her students. I'm not sure why someone would write that she is a bully because that is definitely not the case. It makes me sad someone would write that because my son and I know that's a lie. Twice a year, Ms. Bajon organizes recitals for all of her students. This is a great experience for the kids because they can show off their progress and talent. Even little kids, as small as 4 years old, get to perform alongside Ms. Bajon. She tries her best at making the kids feel at ease. My son always looks forward to performing for everyone. If you want your child to love music and how to play it, I highly recommend taking your child to Bajon Studios.
