Gabriel absolutely captured our magical day. After seeing his Instagram page, I reached out to Gabriel. I explained that we were coming to Spain from New Mexico, USA, and that we were going to have a symbolic wedding ceremony. He helped us reserve an amazing restaurant, Casa Ozama, and he helped me with ideas from thousands of miles away. On our January wedding day, rain came pouring down! Our wedding party planned to walk from our hotel to the Plaza de España, but we didn't plan for the rain. Working with Gabriel was a fantastic experience during our visit to Sevilla. My fiance and I booked him for a 60-min photo shoot in Plaza de España to celebrate our engagement and he was incredibly accommodating and helpful in picking the best backdrops for our photos. Had the most amazing experience with Gabriel. He shot photos for me, my mom and baby on a very short notice and was super accommodating. Gabriel Navas is as good as it gets for travel photography or engagement, wedding, surprise proposal photos, especially if you've never done a photoshoot. My fiancee and I decided to take our engagement photos in Seville and after endless research online and price comparison, went with Gabriel for his absolutely gorgeous portfolio and pricing, which, due to the number of locations and photos you receive, ended up being a better value than the mainstream but lesser quality services such as Photo Tours Seville. We chose the 90-minute 2 location package and shot at the Barrio Santa Cruz and Plaza Espana. He arrived on time and took multiple set-ups at multiple locations at each spot. We lived in Barrio Santa Cruz and I can tell you he knows and shot at the best areas in the neighborhood. He has a very easygoing, sincere demeanor and directed us naturally. What I like the best about his style is that it is very natural and humanistic. None of the shots looked "too posed" and he had a tremendous gift with composition and angles that captured the grand beauty of both locations and also captured the essence of my fiancee and I in a way that didn't look staged and brought out the natural beauty in both of us. The other exceptional quality of Gabriel's work is his post-processing and mastery of light, which makes everything look dramatic, romantic and flat out gorgeous. Between the composition, the strategic locations and post-processing, he can make anyone look like a movie star. We never took a photoshoot in our lives and was kind of nervous about how it turned out. I can tell you there is no reason to be nervous here as his skill makes you look the best you possibly will look. My only regret was all of the delicious foods I had in Spain for over a week before the shoot. I could have looked alot skinnier, haha! Lastly, I debated between taking photos in Barcelona vs Seville and so glad I chose Seville. First, the city is so romantically beautiful and Barcelona, while interesting, has too many people everywhere and some locations like the Gothic Quarter, is kind of dark and dingy. I also recommend choosing the Barrio Santa Cruz and Plaza de Espana (so grand!) as locations and foregoing Alcazar (too many people and not as interesting). No matter what, I recommend going with Gabriel if you want to come back with "wow factor" photos and get a tremendous value. We now have lifelong memories and I'm now scheming a way to get him to shoot the wedding. read more

When I decided I would be proposing my girlfriend while in Sevilla, I hired Gabriel to be the photographer for both the surprise proposal and an official engagement Photoshoot the next day.
