Firstly the outlets are divided into separate buildings, each with their own 'speciality'. This review concerns only one of them. We started on the second floor. This is and area divided into subsections for women, children and men. Everything is put on racks and laid out on tables. I can't see they don't have any nice thing, because they do! It's just that you really need to enjoy this type of shopping or enjoy saving (quite a lot of) money. To find something you like you need to go through all the items in the racks, though somehow the staff manages to keep everything sorted by size and type of clothing (sport, business, casual, etc.). The staff is very friendly and mostly keen to help you out finding something or pointing you in the right direction. There are no single occupancy fitting rooms, but rather cordoned off areas for communal fittings. When you found everything you need it's all put into a big clear plastic bag and sealed at the cash register. So if you plan on shopping big and are by public transport, my advise would be to bring a bag you feel comfortable with walking down the streets and one that's easy to carry. Downstairs the shopping experience changes drastically and it starts to look like you're in a normal store. Even with shop-in-shop concepts. Much more to my personal liking. Downstairs there is also a coffee bar that serves light meals and snacks too. The place is easily reached by S-Bahn (Riem) and a short walk or a very short bus ride. If you don't mind wading through racks and racks and racks to see if there's anything to your liking, this could be something for you! If you like (or need) be watch your spending or simply like to get the most out of your Euro, this could also be the place for you! But if you expect a more "outlet shopping village" USA style, you may be disappointed. I hope you noticed the positive things in this review. It's just not my thing.

My wife and I flew from the US to Munich…read moreand upon arrival we discovered that the airline decided to rip the zippers off my luggage so that I would not be able to close it once I unzipped it at the hotel. The next day we took the damaged lugagge to Maria Büscher to see if they could repair it as we were going to be in Munich for a week. Peter explained that it would take around 2 weeks to get it repaired since he had to mail it to another location to get fixed and then have it mailed back to his shop. He then gave us the most economical options for luggage to replace my damaged one. We settled on one and it is great - standard overhead carry-on size and it is durable (my wife and I's travels continued for another 4 weeks and we had no issues or any damage on the new luggage). I also ended up buying a beautiful leather belt as I accidentally left home without one. There is a great selection of products here, leather and otherwise - wallets, belts, hand bags, overhead carry-on and checked baggage sized luggage. My wife and I ended up hitching a ride to the Bayern match that evening with Peter and Manuel too. While we were at the store, I asked the best way to get to the stadium and they simply said you can come with us. I thought they were kidding at first, but no, they were serious. And my wife and I were very thankful. What started out as a need for a luggage repair or replacement, ended up with a friendship. Peter and Manuel are wonderful people, very nice and very accommodating. Oh also, their english is much better than my german, so there was no language barrier between us. If you are local to Munich, I'm sure you are already know about Maria Büscher. If you're a traveler and need any luggage, belt, wallet, etc. assistance while in Munich, don't worry about trying to find any other place other than Maria Büscher.
