Found this place, along with some others, that charged $30 for a haircut, which seemed more reasonable to me. It was easy to book an appointment online (they prefer appointments but will certainly take Walk-ins, though appointments have the priority), and finding their place wasn't too difficult - it's in a big shopping strip, and says New Alpha out on the front. Walk in and they have a nice atmosphere. I got my haircut with Jon, and he was great! He was patient as I tried out how different cuts looked (a 5 vs 4 vs 6, etc), and it was definitely appreciated! He did a fantastic job and really knows his stuff! Definitely a great time, looking forward to coming back for future haircuts!

Jim also gave my son his first hair cut 5 years ago and has been the only barber to cut his hair since.  I also have a daughter who likes to go with me to Jim's just because she likes him and has fun while she is there.  Jim is great with the kids. Once you get to know Jim you'll find out he has a huge heart and is very generous.  For about 4 months I had to be away from home for work and not able to get a haircut.  I was only able to come home on Sundays.  When I needed a haircut Jim would open his shop just for me on Sunday to help me out.  What other barber do you know that would do that for you? Jim cares about what you have to say and responds with a completely honest opinion.  Jim will tell you how he sees it and may not always be"politically correct" or overly sensitive and he shouldn't have to be.  In Jim's shop he might give his "regulars" a hard time but it's all in good fun.  Jim's shop is a typical barber shop where you get a good haircut and entertaining conversation. Over the years Jim has become a good friend and I would easily recommend him to anyone and their kids that need a good reasonably priced haircut.
