We enjoyed the Oktoberfest band at Longhorn but others might not enjoy loud music until the wee hours!! Room was comfortable with a kitchen, small dining area, fireplace, epic views and cozy bedroom! We did the breakfast package and breakfast was delivered each morning with options like a protein bowl, eggs Benedict and avocado toast! Front desk staff were awesome- I had a broken foot and they helped us locate a wheelchair at a local drugstore! Valet was awful - today we returned our car and he watched me hobble out and us bring the keys to him! They were bad everytime!! But room, location and views were fantastic!

We had a 2-bedroom suite, and loved the little kitchen; and even the complimentary coffee was quite good. The room was well stocked, and supplies quickly replenished as needed. I found the bed to be comfortable and supportive, and appreciated the wireless phone chargers in multiple locations. Yes, we could hear the late night fun happening down at the Dubh Linn Gate Irish pub, but it wasn't terrible. A part of me wished I would have gone down and joined the fun! LOL I would definitely stay here again.

The room came with a kitchenette which was convenient as no one delivers in the area, not even pizza, and they don't have room service. The 22" flatscreen was nice to have too. Free breakfast for each morning was great with make your own Belgium waffles and a good variety of food. The dining area was nice. There's a swimming pool outside and golf, but we didn't use either. They charge for parking. There is a free bus service by the city with pick-up nearby.

The living area was a great space and the pull out sofa was very comfortable. The fireplace was also a nice touch. We stayed for 4 days with no problems and enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. Lost lake is about a 5 minute walk and whistler village is also within a short walking distance ( although we had a car ). The parking was expensive but no more expensive than any other hotel that has cost parking. I will say the lot is ideal for small cars but we managed just fine with a larger Jeep suv. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely come back again!

I'll be honest, I don't often stay at Fairmont properties. This may have been the 5th one I'd ever…read morebeen to in my life. That being said, it was dated, the breakfast setup and options were abysmal, and there were flies everywhere they served food - ick! The pools and hot tubs were comparable to other hotels in the area, the food options at the pool were not exciting, especially for the sticker shock. I called down to see if I could order the seafood chowder from the Mallard to bring to the pool -- they mentioned they dont really have that as an option at the pool because of the possible "spill factor," but I found that odd since they were tolerant of kids drinking their virgin daiquiris in the pool with negligent parents not supervising. There was much confusion and chaos but eventually I was able to place my to go order and have my lunch at the pool (almost 2 hrs after my initial call to the number listed in the room guide for the restaurant, which is actually just the number to the front desk of the hotel -- counterintuitive!) The sandwich shop downstairs was the highpoint of the dining experience for the hotel -- clearly they have some room for improvement for their more pricey/upscale dining options. The adults only pool was in the shade for much of the day and the loungers/tables/entry/exit options nearest that pool were super inconvenient -- so much so that I suffered the kids pool to get my workouts in. The room we were in was really old, musty, and had disappointing pillows, sheets, and thin/well-worn towels. At the rates they charge, even in the "off-season," they are in dire need of upgraded linens. That small thing would go a long way. The customer service was mostly great, with the exception of a couple of people I interacted with. I imagine it is difficult to deal with the kind of people who walk on air through the halls of the best hotels in the world, but I am not that person -- and still felt a couple employees missed the mark with regard to that top-notch customer service the Fairmont brand prides themselves on.

Every staff member made us feel so well taken care of. The food was phenomenal. Every meal was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. Dining there was a highlight of the stay. Overall, Nita Lake Lodge is a peaceful, luxurious retreat with outstanding service and incredible food. I would highly recommend it and would love to return.

What disappointed me most was being charged the full amount for the entire three-night stay despite never checking in. I then had to find and pay for last-minute accommodations elsewhere. The staff were courteous, but the management offered no flexibility or goodwill refund. If you're booking here, make sure you fully understand both the credit card requirements for check-in and the non-refundable booking policy before you arrive.

Quick example: as a poorly prepared Californian I arrived without real boots which were needed a number of times through the trip; not to worry as Cynthia lent me her own boots to use for the duration of our stay. Every morning we had a different, gourmet meal: eggs benedict swiss-style, vegetable frittata with tomato coulis and polenta sticks, omelette with smoked salmon and leeks alongside roasted potatoes, etc. The main was always preceded by a french press coffee and a sort of an amuse bouche that ranged from a traditional bircher muesli to the more adventurous "wasabi boat" (which tasted better than it sounds, perhaps). The Inn itself is warm, clean and has the feeling of being newly built or at least recently renovated. Our room (the Spruce) was well appointed and moderately sized with a cozy fireplace. It is located a very short drive (or longer walk) from the Village and lifts and next to the beautiful lakeside park which offers great strolls when you're tired of hitting the slopes. All told, we hated to leave and can't wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a place to stay around Whistler. I registered for Yelp solely for the purpose of writing this review given how great our experience was.

My fiancee and I stayed here for a short weekend away. While yes, it was nice and yes, it was clean and yes, it was incredibly quiet... it was also horribly boring and felt like we were staying at our parents' place and we were afraid of offending someone and getting kicked out! They don't allow food or drink in the rooms, they don't allow shoes past the front desk (they provide these low quality little slippers) and they don't allow noise after 11pm. I haven't had an 11pm curfew since I was 16... not really a fan. The breakfast was good and the service was nice but I was not impressed that there was no choices for the meal or forewarning about what would be served. I mentioned when we checked in that I don't like fish and thank goodness because they made eggs benny with smoked salmon. Although we didn't know how picky and specific we should be. My fiancee does NOT like eggs benedict, he doesn't like hollendaise and he doesn't like eggs with runny yolks. Every time I order it at a restaurant he is totally grossed out so think how happy he was when a big plate of runny eggs benny was plopped down in front of him. Had we known thats what they were serving he would have simply told them he doesn't like it and would have requested some scrambled eggs... but there wasn't an option. The food was really good but I'm an options kind of girl. I like to choose what I eat or at least have some forwarning. I think that eggs benedict is a very interesting choice to serve to people without any choice. It is a very specific taste and not everyone likes it. I was suprised they went with something so different. After the first meal we requested scrambled eggs for the next morning which our host agreed to but we received egg quiche instead, just like everyone else. Fortunately, it was good but still felt like we were guests at someone's home and were afraid of being rude instead of feeling like we were on vacation and in control. Either way, we would not stay here again. Too expensive and not worth it. We apparently had the second nicest room in the chalet but it was nothing too special as far as I could tell. Especially for the price. It's not very close to the village so we had to take a cab in and we found that the hotels we've stayed in inside the village were just as nice and quiet but also much less expensive. They have a shampoo, conditioner and soap dispenser in the shower that just screams cheap and it was broken so for the first day we didn't have anything to wash our hair with! We happened to bring our own soap. Silly things like that just again made it feel like we were staying with someone instead of on vacation. It is probably aimed at older people or yoga buffs but they promoted it on Groupon so they got a lot of younger people and it was definitely not our scene. I'm sure there's a market out there for this chalet but it is not for a couple of 20-somethings from Vancouver up for a chill weekend in Whistler.

The rooms are very large with full kitchens and a cozy fireplace. We spent a week here in January 2012 and loved relaxing in our place after a day on the slopes! You get a locker near the back door to store your ski gear so you can come right in off the run, put your gear in the locker and head straight up to your room with ease. I booked this as a package through Whistlerblackcomb.com with our lift tickets. It was a great price and if you buy them before the end of November for the coming season, they heavily discount the packages!

The pool and hot tub was small but good enough. Parking is $24 a night or walk about 5 minute in public lot for $10. Room was clean and well equipped. Has stove, microwave, fridge and basic kitchen tools. Staff were very nice and helpful. Check out was fast and easy. Overall, I enjoyed our one night stay. I would stay here again.

This hotel disappointed on every front…read more Prior to our visit, I called on three occasions, trying to get information about guides and experiences. I spoke to two different concierges (whoever answered the mainline each time I called claimed to be one). I was shocked to find the concierges spoke down to me, failed to listen to me when I was asking for information - substituting instead their assumptions of what they thought I was going to ask for, and insultingly tried to explain to me how websites and phones worked. In addition, they appeared to lack any independent knowledge about who to contact for what. Instead, they would refer me to Google. Had Google answered my questions, I would not have had to call the concierges in the first place. Twenty-four hours before we were to arrive, we learned we could not travel to Canada because our 4.5 month old puppy would not be allowed back into the US until she was 6 months old. I tried to find puppy care on this short notice, but could not. I immediately called bookings.com for help, and they said they were happy to refund me, but Pan Pacific had to approved it before they could do so. Bookings.com wrote and asked for the refund the day before we were to arrive. In addition, I personally called and emailed Pan Pacific that afternoon and again the following morning, asking to cancel with a refund or reschedule for July or August when our pup would meet the US's 6month age requirement. The following day, I received an email from Pan Pacific refusing to refund my prepayment - even though we would not be able to come. They also falsely characterized my request as a same day cancellation. This is not some small B&B or family-owned hotel that may not be able to handle cancellations or for whom a cancellation of a three-night stay in their cheapest room class could have serious financial consequences. The Pan Pacific Hotels Group has a multitude of hotels in at least thirteen countries and advertise on their website that there are more coming soon. I can't think of a single reason why they wouldn't just let me postpone my reservation to later in the summer if they couldn't afford to simply cancel and refund my $700US and change (the total cost of all three nights). Also frustratingly, after refusing to refund my money for a room I couldn't use, they said they would provide me the "courtesy" of adding my family members' names to the reservation. My reservation was for myself, my 12 year-old, and our puppy - all of which was disclosed to them upon reserving the room. Clearly putting the room in my child's or puppy's name accomplishes nothing. And since I paid for the room, shouldn't they be required to let my designee stay in it? Is that really a courtesy? In my opinion, their "courtesy" was a meaningless, valueless platitude that felt, and was intended to feel, dismissive and rude. I truly miss the days of customers being valued and treated with a modicum of respect - or, at the very least, treated with the intention of creating customer goodwill and /or trying to obtain repeat business. Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre really appears not to care at all about their customer experience. And if that's true, wouldn't it be far better to stay at - and support - a hotel that does?

This suite is near 1700 sq ft, has a full kitchen, living room with soaring ceilings and dining area, a master bedroom with fireplace, large built in closet and en suite bathroom, a king bedroom, queen bedroom with en suite and half bath. It also has four balconies - one off each of the bedrooms and large one off the living room with spectacular views of the village and mountains. The beds were amazingly comfortable, room was cleaned early each day and had everything we needed from espresso machine, coffee machine, washer and dryer , large double fridge, great bathroom amenities. Loved the experience but a few things were lacking - no wall decor - walls looked freshly painted but were completely blank, master bathroom was tiny, but bedroom was huge with lots of wasted space - for example the fireplace was nice but there was no seating area just an otter-man with bedding , and two bathrooms were off the queen bedroom but none near the king bedroom !! Washer dryer was a great addition until we realized it only used boiling hot water even on a cold cycle and we had to request that the fire place and safe be repaired. That said it is a great location, comes with daily breakfast, the balconies are worth every penny and it's very clean and comfortable!
