As we were paying for the items, he requested the cashier to put his number so he can get the reward points, even though I was paying for the items. We had agreed he would avoid cutting back of the drywall and the stucco to gain access to the shower cartilage, and instead access everything from the front, which is why we bought cover plates. However, when we arrived at the house, he went ahead and cut into the drywall from the back without notifying me or my wife. He did the same for the upstairs bathroom. Then he was gone for half the day leaving his 2nd to do all the work. After returning, they proceeded to cut into the stucco, still without mentioning any additional costs. Around 5:00 p.m., they left without repairing the walls or the stucco, and it was only then that Manuel (owner) mentioned wanting more pay. I gave him $250 as part of our original $360 agreement, with the understanding the rest would be paid once the job was complete. A day after, he texted me claiming I owe him $2000. I told him I wasn't going to pay that much money. I asked him to return and complete the job since he is the one who decided on his own accord to cut through stucco and drywall without obtaining permission. I told him if he had mentioned that this would have cost me $2000, I would never have taken him up on this job. He left the job half done so that he can pry on our emotions with efforts of extorting more money from us. very unprofessional, and he will ruin your house.

Costing: Pablo provided an extremely aggressive quote! In some cases a few grand cheaper than competitors. Price agreement : Pablo is understanding and open to conversations about cost. The detailed itemized price proposal made it easy to inquire about things like types of turf and how to be more cost efficient with the amount of cement we wanted. Project Review: once we agreed on the project, Pablo and his dad came out one more time to make sure we were aligned on the project, which was helpful. Installation: We had a couple of days delay because of the recent rain but Pablo gave me a heads up the week before that they were going to keep an eye on the weather and would start as quickly as possible. The project itself took 4 days to complete for roughly 1300 sq feet of cement and 800 sq ft of turf. Pablo and his dad were both out here personally installing the concrete and turf. They even installed a door leading to my backyard at no additional cost. Result: we are extremely happy with the result and how great it makes my front and backyard look. I will recommend Pablo to all my friends and family. Thank you Pablo!
