My friend, who lives in Clark Freeport had told me that he buys his imported fruits and veggies at Gmart because they're cheaper than the other grocery stores. I had only seen Gmart as a typical Korean grocery store where I could go if I wanted Korean specialty items.
It's difficult to get here if you don't have your own car, because the jeeps aren't running during the Covid-19 crisis and they don't allow Tricycles inside Clark Freeport.
They have their own private parking lot. There's usually no lines outside at night but you'll still need to d deal with the lines at the cashier, they're slow as molasses. At the door they'll check your temperature and spritz your hands with alcohol, masks are mandatory for entrance. They have a decent sized meat and seafood section with good variety. My friend also pointed out that they have the cheapest price for printer paper around, so we picked up a box. They have a separate room for their kitchen and table ware off to the left of the store.
My friend was right, the prices for imported fruits and veggies are much cheaper here than the Philippine chain grocery stores, plus the produce looks much fresher and in better condition. Need another reason to come here? It's located on the same street as the duty free Puregold store, SHOPPING!!!!!!! read more
