I recently contacted this company for an estimate. After the owner came out to my property, he gave…read moreme a quote on which I agreed on. (But before I proceed, I know the owner will bad mouth me, because I would not pay him in advance, and that is fine since I have him and his wife/helper on video. He was verbally abusive to my mother). A disposal fee was included in the quote which I was aware of and agreed to. The problem we encountered was his persistence on paying him before hand. He was asking for the money, days in advance. I'm not one to pay for a job that hasn't been started, never the less not completed. He initially quoted me a time of arrival, which he didn't commit to. I have made a visit to my local police department, presented the video of him being verbally abusive and filed a report. I have also submitted surveillance video evidence to my local news media to prevent it from happening to someone else. Verbal abuse: the act of forcefully criticizing, insulting or denouncing another person. He did just that. Verbal abuse is not the same as misinformation. As stated above, he will try and defame me, it's okay. I have my lawyer in place to press charges for slander, intimidation, and harassment (all provided with video evidence- surveillance and personally captured).
