After getting my car back I did some research on my service. Christian Brothers charged me $446.72 for my refrigerant alone, which would amount to $17.45 an ounce (my car took 25.6 ounces). Yet, at autozone it is $44.99 for 8oz ($5.62 an ounce). It is even cheaper at walmart, costing $35.31 for 8oz ($4.41 an ounce). I understand charging a little extra to make a profit but why is it more than triple the cost? Especially when I was charged an extra $149 for labor. If you are looking for a trustworthy place to get your vehicle fixed, I do not recommend here. Shame on Christian Brothers!

Then the hood close sensor was damaged and they performed the worst fix with a jumper wire I have ever seen. I build classic cars and engines as a hobby and I have never seen the incompetence I witnessed with this place. I am absolutely shocked and mortified by the workmanship. The owner never returned my call either. They lied about the status of the car throughout the process. They said they were working on it, only to discover it was sitting outside. When I picked it up, it was absolutely filthy, covered in dirt, greasy paw prints everywhere, no mat used in the inside. Stay away from this place!
