The price was fair and I signed for the work to be done. His office manager emailed the invoice and payment was easy to navigate. I purchased the materials and they did the install. They are pretty exact on their scheduling and the team showed up on the promised day and within days they installed a beautiful tiled walk in shower. I've already talked with them on my next remodel and I'm awaiting the invoice now. They are absolutely worth the wait and their skilled labor is worth every dollar.

If something isn't quite right he will make sure it is and without any hassle. I called about something several years after the house was completed and not only did they respond to my email the same day, they sent someone out to look into the situation within a day. I think his follow up and customer service is outstanding. He built my house in Ocean Ridge meeting all the timelines. Last year, I sold that house in two months because the new owners recognized an exceptional house. I built another house in St James Plantation and was disappointed that I could not convince him to build in that community but he knows that extending himself beyond the Ocean Isle/Sunset beach area could affect the quality of his product. That is a man with great integrity. AG

I have been following Riptide Builder on social media for a while now but have never been in one of…read moretheir homes in person. I had an opportunity to do so at this last Parade of Homes. I "dragged" my husband with me to take a peek. Wow! We were pleasantly surprised. The size, location, craftsmanship and price point all stood out as positive attributes. However, we do wish the garage size was a bit bigger. Their included features list is impressive as well. I liked the model home so much that I've gone back with two other friends to show them as well. While I can't make a decision on a new home right this moment, you can bet Riptide is staying on my radar. Phyllis S

Brian quoted painting and we had found someone else by then and figured they might charge less and be available sooner but we wanted a reputable company to do the more complicated jobs so we waited on Real Pro to give us a quote on any or all of the other jobs. After over 3 weeks and several emails, the office manager emails me telling me they're too busy to do anything for us and didn't even quote it for a later date. In my opinion, they should have told me that up front instead of wasting my time. I was very surprised after reading other reviews that they would be so unprofessional. If they would have been straight with us and told us directly, we might would have hired them at a later date but obviously they don't want our business now or later and we have wasted over 3 weeks waiting on a quote.
