I'll admit I was surprised with how much I enjoyed Fuzzy's. Taco joints seem to be a dime a dozen, so it's nice to find one with really good food. It was also nice that it was karaoke night, so that added a bit of fun. I ordered some fried shrimp tacos, but they gave me grilled. Thankfully they were still delicious. And I really liked the Latin fried potatoes (I am the Fry Snob after all). I'm definitely coming back soon!

My first meal out in 2025 and my first Yelp review of the year! Fuzzy's is not at all authentic, but it's hands-down one of my favorite spots for quick Mexican--and one of the best cheap eats still holding strong in Orlando! Everything can be made with a vegetarian filling option, and thankfully it isn't just a sad pile of beans like other places; it's an actual medley of veggies like squash, peppers, and carrots. A little win for us plant-based diners! And if you've managed to sleep in until 2 p.m. after a night out (not that I did that on New Year's Eve or anything *ahem*) their all-day breakfast burritos--loaded with eggs and potatoes -- make a great hangover cure! Pro tip: Swing by for happy hour on weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. 2-for-$5 tacos, chips and queso for $4, and ridiculously cheap cocktails and frozen margaritas.

Went for their Taco Tuesday and this was very good! Definitely coming back; the chicken was my favorite and the meat wasn't dry.

I really do like fuzzys a lot. The garlic sauce they add on their veggie tacos really brings a different flavor but last night I was craving nachos and decided to order. I tried the refried beans nachos with cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and garlic sauce . It was so yummy. I ordered it through uber eats and surprisingly it was pretty cheap and quick . I will definitely be going back . The service was good for the most part. They also do happy hour .

Fuzzy's is solid, nothing amazing, but definitely good. Prices are fair and food is tasty, I don't have any complaints. The shrimp quesadillas are my favorite, and the sauce they use is so good and keeps me coming back. Vibe is casual and service is fine. Overall, pretty impressed!

Upon entering it wasn't full but within a few minutes it got packed. I'm glad I had put my order in right away. At Fuzzy's you have to go to the counter to place your order and then you get a buzzer, when the buzzer goes off you walk to the kitchen window to pick up your order. They have lots of seating available and we're playing average restaurant music at a normal volume, which was nice. They have lots of variations on the menu for all the proteins they provide. For an appetizer we got the Queso with Chorizo and it was really good. We ordered the QuesoBirria taco to try and it was ok, kind of dry and chewy. The Chicken Quesadilla tasted like an average quesadilla. The Carnitas Bowl was packed with a lot of meat and all the toppings tasted fresh. The Cheese Potato & egg taco was really good it was just a little dry it needed some type sauce to make it better but the potatoes were yummy. The Beef Burrito was a hefty one and filled with all the toppings which all combined together made for a flavorful burrito. They also serve breakfast items, so next time I visit I plan on trying some of those.

My friend took me to Fuzzy's Taco Shop for a little treat and it did NOT disappoint. This place had everything I could possibly want. From tacos to margaritas to OREO CHURROS!!! Thievery single staff person was super helpful and gave us honest opinions of what was their favorite dish or drink. Fuzzy's was clean, well stocked and organized. This location (by UCF) was perfect for us and easy to find. Would definitely recommend to get your taco fix!

Drunken Pig, Shrimp and Fish Specialty Tacos
    Simran K.

Decent taco experience but definitely underwhelming! The Drunken Pig which came with Tortilla Chips and dip itself (consisting on shreds of pork, beans, and other goodies) was quite enjoyable. The tacos on the other hand, disintegrated upon lifting them off the plate on the very first go, and this happened with all the tacos we had so the success rate was a little low. I enjoyed the selection of hot sauces they had on each table to jazz up the tacos but on their own the Specialty shrimp and fish tacos we ordered was alright. The vibe and look of the place is decent and the service is efficient so no complaints there.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop offers mediocre food geared primarily for the college crowd. It is located in the shopping plaza with the Publix on Woodbury Road and East Colonial Drive. The nicest thing about it is that it has a little outdoor type bar where you can sit and enjoy a beer or a drink along with your meal. Fuzzy's models its brand along the lines of a Chipotle, Moe's or other of the casual fast restaurant type model. Unfortunately, their food offers little to no improvement on these other brand. In fact, I would say they're one of the worst out of these brands. I gave this place a try and I guess I am glad that I did. It is not that it is terrible, it is just not that good.

    Taco Plate with Borracho Beans
    Thysis R.

Solid 3 stars for a decent meal. First time visiting so I may update again after my second visit. I ordered the Taco Plate which comes with 2 tacos any flavor and 2 sides. I chose the fajita chicken and Mahi tacos both on flour. For my sides I went with the cilantro lime rice and the borracho beans. The fajita chicken taco was my favorite out of the 2 tacos. The Mahi tacos were way too fishy. I know it's fish but I've never had Mahi with such a strong flavor to it. The cilantro lime rice was good but wish that it would have been a little bit warmer. It came out lukewarm at best. The borracho beans were pretty good. They are cooked in beer and back. Can't go wrong with that! I'll definitely stop in again and try some other items but over all it was decent.

Eeeh... Well I only have one place to compare it to. Last and only Fuzzy's Taco Shop I've been to was in Dallas. Great experience! Shiner on draught with large frosty mugs there. You could smell the spices of the foods being made in that one. Absolutely great ambience as well. Place was located in a shopping strip like this one but the one here although nice did not have the same character as the one in Dallas. My food was "good". Didn't have much flavor. I got the steak bowl and my steak was undercooked. Wife had a steak taco and hers was bland as well. Sucks when you go out expecting what you've had only to drop $30 on something that I could have made better back home. Just my 2cents. For others this may be a great place. For me, probably will wait till I make it back to Dallas again.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

This year I told my honey the only way I would go out was if we found a place that excepted reservations. In return, I accepted that it was most likely not going to be an extraordinary, authentic, or a gem of a place. My first experience at Solita turned out to be what I manifested. Upon entering the restaurant, vibes were in full effect. No mariachi band as I would have hoped, but the but the energy in the room was happy and festive. They had a DJ providing music, but it was so loud that when our waitress read us their specials, I literally told her I could not hear her. She did greet us with salsas, chips, and these little wheels I read a lot about. They had a similar texture to a chicharron and were simply delightful! Probably my favorite component I sampled all night. Since I had never been to Solita, I checked out Yelp to do my research. One thing I was excited to try was their "Duckie Frozé". It had Rosé, fruit purée, frozen margarita with your choice of flavor: watermelon, pomegranate, or guava. Adorning the top of the drink was a darling little rubber duckie. There are TONS of pictures of this drink on Yelp. Much to my surprise, my drink arrived with NO DUCK. When I asked the waitress about it, she shrugged it off said they "don't do that anymore". It may sound like a small thing to be disappointed about, but really that was just the start. Luckily, Cinco was on Tuesday this year, so we were able to order from the "Taco & Tequila Tuesday" discounted menu. We started off with the Grilled Corn Elote which is served tableside. I thought this would be cool, but it wasn't. It was a bit painful watching the waitress struggle to shave the corn off. I almost wanted to offer help! After all that, the corn was just ok. I personally think the Elote I make at home is better. Thankfully this was on the Tuesday Menu also making it only $5. While perusing their selections prior to going, I felt that their taco prices were a bit steep. They have two types of taco sizes. The Street Tacos looked itty bitty with next to nothing on them. They do have a lot of flavor choices (11), and you get 3-4 tacos for about $20. Glad I saw photos of these on Yelp beforehand. Then they have Tacos Locos. They are described as "One large taco" when in fact they are just regular sized tacos overflowing in toppings. Just ONE Tacos Locos costs about $15! I think the pricing is loco, and based off what we'd tried so far, I was certain to only order from the Tuesday menu. We were able to get a Shrimp Chicharron for $6 and a Vampiro (Chicken or Carnitas) for $8. The shrimp one was appetizing. I even remember thinking after the first few bites that I should have just gotten two of those. Then I tried a piece of chicken from my Vampiro. It was a piece of straight fat that I immediately spit out. That pretty much killed it for me, and I didn't even eat anymore of the Vampiro or anything else for that matter. The positives of the evening included: -Getting into a spot to celebrate on Cinco De Mayo -The food came out quicker than expected based on the reviews -Trying a new restaurant and learning that it's nowhere I will be returning to or recommending. Knowledge is power.

I believe they have several locations in the area, and this is a newer one with very welcoming and modern interiors. They have wonderful daily specials and various happy hour periods that extend from 2 to 10 PM, including $3 tacos from 8 until 10 PM. Meals start off with complimentary chips and salsa (4.5/5), which are happily refilled upon request. We tried a variety of tacos (5/5) which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The vegetarian San Jose's fajita bowl (4.5/5) was tasty and served in a generous portion that is ideal for sharing. The cheese quesadilla (5/5) hit all the fresh flavor notes without the cheese being too sharp in taste. The churros (5/5) were the perfect dessert, having a slightly crunchy exterior and softer core as you bit into it.
