He really struggled at a previous camp but things were so different at Jumpin Gymsters. Carol, Carlos and the other staff members really helped him to feel safe and keep him happy and engaged. He had so much fun, he didnt want to leave at the end of the day. They really helped build his social confidence as well and he made a lasting friend there that summer. We had such a great experience with them that we decided to hire them for my son's sixth birthday party (which went really well) and also sent all three of our kids to some 2024 summer sessons. I can't recommend them enough!

I saw a sign for a children's art camp and took the opportunity to enrich my little peanut who goes through paper like a bag of Doritos with a little formal instruction. The camp lasted a week, three hours daily, and concluded with a celebratory art show and family friendly picnic. The instructor, Allison, is a talented life long artist from a family of artists, who currently runs the day to day functions of the park along with the school in the rear building. She is amazing with rowdy smocked children running amok flinging actual paint and canvases--not washable fingerpaint, but wear your play garb for a genuine, stain inducing introduction to techniques of fine art. My daughter came home with a bagful of illustrations of every animal known to man, a finished canvas, and a memory of an experience she wants to repeat again. Fortunately, the school offers both after school programs during the year and multiple sessions in the summer. Additionally, there are adult classes--one in the late afternoon and another on Wednesday evenings that I recently decided to dip my 'haven't painted in 20 years palette' into. It's been a fabulous three classes so far. A traditional art curriculum with warm ups, exercises in charcoal still life's, cross hatching, scratch etching, and sustained work on oil canvas. Allison knows when to give guidance and when to let you figure out brush strokes on your own. I'm learning to ride my "artist" bike all over again and enjoying every challenging, creative moment. I highly recommend this obscure little school in San Leandro. I hope it grows like the garden it's situated in.

She started at 2 years old and is now reading letters, counting to 30, writing her name, and even cutting with scissors -- all while singing French songs and retelling stories with joy. ABS has created a safe, nurturing environment where she learned not just academics but empathy, independence, and confidence. She was potty trained within months, and she loved going to school so much she'd hide at pickup time just to stay longer! Her teachers -- Tina and Samia in year one, and Kahina and Safia this year -- are exceptional. Warm, patient, and truly invested in each child's growth, all the teachers always kept us informed and welcomed every conversation with a smile. The school also provides nutritious meals daily (thank you Liliana and Yessica!), with the weekly menu sent in advance -- something we really appreciated. And the administration, especially Chloé the Director and Zohra the Head Teacher, are always present at drop-off and pickup, making communication seamless and personal. The outdoor environment is just as special -- with gardens, fruit trees, and even chickens! Our daughter sometimes brings home fresh eggs and stories of planting and harvesting. The space is always clean and the parking is just sufficient and stress-free. Huge thanks to the entire ABS team -- from teachers (Safia, Kahina, Tina, Samia, Rama, Liasmine, Hiba, Ceylan) to admin to chefs and grounds staff( Mark & Arturo) -- and especially to Chloé and Coralie, whose leadership and warmth have made ABS a second home for our family. This is more than a school -- it's a joyful, loving, and inspiring place where children truly thrive. ABS is the place you want your child to be~!

Jen gave him a warm welcome and explained to him what to do since all the other kids already knew. He jumped right in and started with drills. She taught foot work, how to control the ball, defender drills and a scrimmage at the end. Equipment was neat, didn't appear overly used and she had very good control of the class of about 10-11 kids.
