We hired Wes to provide ceremony and wedding reception services. He gave us options to use indoor fog, confetti pops, indoor sparklers, uplighting, stage lighting, everything! He even provides a link where guests can go online and request music. While we were touring our venues, every single Event Coordinator knew Wes and spoke lovingly about him. We are so grateful for his services and we highly recommend!

I was contacted by Wes, the owner, and told that if I had…read morecontacted him and told him that I wasn't satisfied with his services instead of writing a review that I would have had my money refunded. I don't think that he didn't deserve any compensation, but I do believe I was not given the service I was told. I'd rather another bride have her night go smoothly and be aware of what services they'd be receiving vs what they'd be promised. Also he sent me a Playlist from the night of my wedding and there were some slow songs that I had missed, not a lot but there were some there, or at least in the list he sent. I didn't notice them playing, but I dont think he'd go as far as to fabricate a Playlist. Also since I wrote my initial review my family informed me that while he was setting up, he actually broke the venue's chandelier! He was by far the worst vendor I used for my wedding, and the lowest rating i have ever given on yelp. I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 1 because I'm in awe that with everything else that went wrong he actually broke property in the venue. Also, telling me that being dissatisfied entitles me to my money back but only if I had not reviewed him is pretty shady as well.

I was also in a wedding in Houston for which JD was hired for the reception. He's a super nice guy and really easygoing. His music collection was absolutely amazing and he was able to not only play all requests, but play them quickly. We had a pretty big light show (at the party, not the bike races), but he said what we had was less than half of his lights. He doesn't talk much, except for announcements (like cake cutting) and doesn't do the annoying thing a lot of DJs do by calling everything "traditional." ("Traditional cutting of the cake"; "traditional first dance"; "traditional father daughter dance"; etc.) When I first used him he was based out of Lufkin, but now he's out of Tyler. He claims to cover all of East Texas -- given that he played that wedding in Houston, he certainly gets around.

These guys are the real deal…read more David and his crew are really the kind of DJs I would want every time. Overall, they were punctual, professional, and damned good at their craft. They take direction well and have a natural knack for reading a crowd. Attendees of my events had nothing but good things to say and asked me for their contact info over and over. I also appreciate they brought quality equipment with them and took their time setting up and breaking down. Some folks bring a couple of speakers and a mixer, but their setup looked anything but amateur. I also love that they had really excellent wireless mics and the audio was fire from start to finish. At the end of the day, I would use them again in a heartbeat. They're also flexible with payment and are extremely communicative via email. Their music selection and catalog of different genres means that they're versatile enough to make any event stand out with the right kind of sound.

We explained we wanted a fun dance party from beginning to end, and they did everything they could to organize our ceremony, customize our playlist, and keep our guests dancing. Evelyn was responsive when we had questions and needed to line up appointments before the big day. They worked with us to play a medley first dance song, a traditional line dance for my family, and even helped my husband surprise me with a guitar performance during the reception. This family team made us feel like we were a part of theirs. We love their professional set up and presentation throughout the night. They definitely delivered to run a great wedding and we cannot recommend them enough!

They were quick to set up when arriving. Their rates are very reasonable and wanting to make sure you get everything you want for your event. They did a great job keeping to our itinerary and not annoying our guests by constantly speaking while we were eating or enjoying other wedding festivities.

I want to first start off and say I don't usually write reviews, but this is something that I would…read morelike to share. We had a great initial contact with him and were ready for the big day of our wedding. Prior to the wedding day I provided specific songs to him on a CD and we met to give it to him. The morning of the wedding I found out that he no longer could find the CD and I had to reburn it and provide it to him hours before the ceremony. I was told that I was going to be provided a sound system for my rooftop ceremony and that a mic would be provided. The sound system turned out to be a Bose cd player and no microphone. Our guests in the back (we only had 66 guests) could not hear a thing that our officiant was saying and it was our friend and a very custom speech. We ended the ceremony and he forgot to play our music when I walked down the aisle so we walked down in silence. On to the reception... The microphone died during the Maid of Honor's speech and instead of just leaving it dead he went and tapped on the microphone and attempted to fix it which produced pounding noises over the loudspeaker while the speech was being given. When the dance music started he did a great job of mixing the music and playing my custom playlist in order. He also did a great job in making sure nobody was able to make requests unless checking with me first since that was my request. However, one of the PA speakers was blown. We played a lot of bassy music and every time certain frequencies (roughly 50-80 hertz) were played there was a horrible rattling sound. To an audiophile like myself this was rather disturbing and a few of our guests even made comments to me. All in all this all didn't ruin our wedding by any means, but it was far from perfect. He is a great guy and very low cost. I would definitely go grab a beer with the guy, but I would never book him again or refer him to any friends.

Provided lighting inside the venue as well as custom tent lighting and edison chandelier. End result was AMAZING!! I was surprised how the lighting transformed the space. Eric also stayed throughout the evening to make adjustments as the party went on. Also, not overpriced! Which was always my concern when researching wedding vendors. I don't normally write reviews but Eric was honestly my favorite vendor.

This is the email we send to the owner, he then ask for our address, and we thought he might be…read moresending some of the money back, due to the terrible experience we had, its been a month and nothing. Hello We're sending this email regarding our wedding this past Saturday the 14. We're beyond disappointed with the service the DJ provide. First, we were told he was going to arrived at 1, he did at 4:20 He showed up in short and a t-shirt, which he changed in the middle of the parking lot. I literally watch him pulling down his shorts to put on the pants. This is just unacceptable! He did NOT follow our music request. When ceremony was over and it was time for us to walk down the aisle as married couple, he didn't start the music until we were in the middle of the hallway. Which now the video is ruined. He put the reception entrance music before we were ready, and keep playing it and stop it like 3 times. Kinda sound like he was testing the song and volume, with all the guest inside! At the open dance, it was just a DISASTER, we were so upset! He did NOT put any of the type of music we requested, we send you links of songs and name of artists, he didn't FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. He was playing songs we have NEVER heard in our life, and on top of that, he was playing the WHOLE song! When we send the maid of honor to change the music (which was like 5 times, because after we just resigned the dance floor and went to take pictures outside) he ask her if she want it plug her cellphone instead. We pay for the maid of honor playlist???? Only 2 out of our "make sure to include" list were played, which one of them we want it to dance together, he played at the beginning, while I was on the bathroom! I understand hes not stop music if one of us was not there but if I told you to make sure to include this song, and is a slow love song, I don't think you couldn't just wait for me so we can dance together. When a request was made, he would stop the music COMPLETELY, the reception would go without music for about 40 sec to a 1 minute, for him to search for the song, then played it. We had TWO last songs! I wanted a song for my brother who couldn't make the wedding, and then the song to finish the wedding. He came 4 minutes before 9pm and tell us that there was only 4 min left and only time for just one final song, so it was a choose and pick situation now. After the DJ was gone, EVERYONE was just saying how terrible it was. A mom planning a quinceanera and a girl planning her wedding ask me for the name to make sure not include on their DJ search. We're sorry to write all this, but for us the music was important, we didn't want anything crazy, just a less distracted DJ, and someone with somehow experience. I really hope there's a way for you to make it up to us, since we cant revert time. Thank you. David and Alejandra Robbins.
