I love the personal training! And there are plenty types of equipment to get my own workout in. The reason I joined was for the self defense training. It's not a martial arts class. The training is practical and can be performed by anyone regardless of athletic ability. It's the real deal taught by instructors who have used it on the 'streets.' It's good to be prepared. You never know when you may need to defend yourself!

I showed up prior to the time that was on the schedule, on their website. I got there and they were…read morefinishing up. The schedule on the website was wrong. Owner sat on the mat, never looked up, and when I said hi he never got up to shake my hand or welcome me. Just, "No, it's at 10:00". I did not mention the website being wrong in front of his students, out of respect for him, but that respect was not returned. I sent a polite text and email letting him know the schedule on his website was wrong. He never replied to me, but he did read it because he changed the schedule on his website later that day. I am puzzled. He was a nice guy when we traded emails. I drove there for a half hour for no reason, because his schedule was not correct. A simple "Hey, sorry about that." would have gone a long way. It is OK to make mistakes, but owe up to it. It is puzzling, because such unprofessional behavior is bad business. Nothing personal. He may be a great guy, but I used to own a business, and this is how to make one not succeed. The message I got was that I was not welcome there after that. I know there happy students there, but for a new person I would suggest trying somewhere else. Why chance it?
