I've been getting facials from Kelly for 20+ years -- mostly at a previous salon-- and like another reviewer, I tracked her down after she left that place during COVID. Kelly is a total pro and her facials are absolutely transcendent. You will be transported to another dimension as she works wonders on your face, neck and chest skin. All the while, she's giving incredible deep-tissue massage. Her facials are surprisingly vigorous, almost like she's performing a modern dance, but you'll be blissed out while she's working hard. Treat yourself and buy the full 90-minute experience; you won't regret a minute of it. Also, don't be turned off by the modest strip-mall exterior of this little gem. Once you're inside, you will be comfy and cozy.

There has never been one time anyone giving Botox did not administer the treatment straight on. I'm looking for another establishment now to correct the results from this visit. The waiting room was cute though. The provider was nice.

The location is close to downtown and has it's own parking area. I went to Amber because I was having some intense neck pains. She spent almost the entire hour working on that part of my body trying to help relieve the pain. I really appreciated how she went back and forth between using hot and cold temperatures and she seemed very present during the whole massage. She used a nice pressure and seemed to be very in tune with my body and my muscles. I felt SO much better after the massage and was completely relaxed. I can't wait to go back again.

I had exhausted all of my groupon options for cheap(er) massages and I took to Yelp to find a great local body work practitioner. Omra was a page back, but I really liked the sound and look of the place so I decided to schedule myself an appointment. Amber, my masseuse, scheduled me an appointment within three days of my call, which I'm sure you know around here is a big deal, some places are booked out for weeks ahead of schedule. She was willing to fit me in on the end of one of her standard scheduled days, so I was grateful before I even stepped foot through the door. Omra is located at a great space with an actual parking lot. Man, that is awesome. Up a couple of flights of stairs in a large shared building and you enter a magically relaxing room. It's cozy as cozy can be. It doesn't feel sterile, it feels loved, and well maintained. There's decorations all around the room that give this place a homey charm. It's like being invited into someone's house. Thoroughly relaxing. I'd love to give you the play by play of my 75 minute massage, but the fact is, it kind of knocked me out. I was put into this kind of weird half awake half dream state, where the massage felt like the longest, and most brief thing that has ever happened. The amount of pressure was perfect, even when I thought I wanted a bit more pressure to work out some sort of knot or twist I felt within my muscles I felt them relaxing and easing up. Super pleasant. I can't say enough nice things about Amber and Omra Bodywork. Truly. I've always ping ponged between places offering groupons, which I'm sure were a way to get me in the door of many of the spas, sanctuaries, and massage houses here in Asheville, but I never felt connected to them. Their rates without the groupon were well out of my budget. However, my full priced treatment at Omra was only slightly more than I've spent on deals at other places in the past, including the tip! I don't look forward to the next time that I need a massage, but at least I feel confident knowing that I have a prefered source of aid and relief when I do.

We actually came early to view the premises and to eat lunch, this review will be under the hotel in a few. Andrea was very kind and we loved conversing with her about the spa and some other neat things for us to visit. We were offered mimosa while we waited for our treatments. The therapist came out and greeted us and explained the services we will receive for 1hr. The room was warm and had a wonderful relaxing scent, nice music was playing also. We enjoyed the massage and there kindness thru out the treatments, very relaxing! We did feel kinda rushed at the end, the therapist came in our room twice while we were getting dressed, its winter so we did have more clothing on. They came in and gave us lemon tea, then we were more or less rushed out of room. The place was is a boutique, I believe 4 rooms and others were waiting to come in. Tip: Book appts so that each person has enough time at the end, other than that everything was fine. Again, a big Thanks to Andrea!! Pics coming...

It turns out the reservation was there the whole time. After that, there was no staff around to inform us or show us where any amenities on the property were nor did the front desk staff member bother to help. We ended up having to ask another guest for help. The property was pretty dead. The steam room wasn't turned on, so we had to figure out how to do that. Majority of chairs by the pool were ripped up or rotting. Dirty towels were overflowing from their baskets. It's advertised that food & drinks will be served by the pool. There was no staff by the pool the entire day we were there. The pool bar ended up being closed, but there was no communication as to why. We had to walk from the pool to the main restaurant for drinks and food, which is a fairly steep walk. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the host was not informed as to how we could take food to go or how to answer questions regarding the menu. Our order and bill ended up being wrong 3 times. All in all, for the amount of money that was spent - the experience was very poor and disappointing. The only redeeming factor was the beautiful view.

BEST FACIAL EVER!…read more This review is for a facial, eyebrow wax, and brazilian wax. Making an appointment was super easy. Alyssa was friendly over the phone and very accommodating to my schedule; I booked an appointment for the following day. Located in Biltmore Village, in a cool, historic building, above Rezaz Cafe. There is a free parking lot adjacent to the building, so parking was a breeze. The spa is on the second floor in a bright room with a warm, cozy decor; made me feel right at home. Alyssa is the owner and esthetician. She really knows skin, inside and out. We chatted about what was going on with my skin and agreed on the 75 minute "Clarifying Facial." I've suffered with hormonal /cystic acne since my early teens. Having been under the mag-lamp of many estheticians, I have undergone a variety of facials and experienced all kinds of estheticians - the ones that don't say anything, the ones that chat the whole time, the ones that try to upsell you on products/services throughout, and the ones that just go through the motions without really being present. Alyssa doesn't fall into any of these categories ; she is super personable and accommodating to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. She read me well, and understood that I wanted a tranquil, relaxing experience - not to chat. Alyssa was focused throughout the duration of the treatment - even tailored the facial to fit my skins needs. When I asked about the products - some smelled so delicious that my mouth watered - she was extremely knowledgable , explaining the ingredients and benefits. Overall: extractions were gentle, yet effective, products smelled incredible, toasty slippers instantly warmed my feet, and the scalp massage was out of this world. Alyssa is an effective waxer. She thoughtfully shaped and cleaned my bold brows without overwaxing. I was super impressed with her Brazilian technique - quick, clean, and MUCH less painful than other waxes I've endured. Plus, she uses hard wax - major bonus. When I left, my face was glowing to the point where I didn't even need tinted moisturizer. The next day, my skin was transformed - calm, even, and dewy. Everyone complemented my brows. Brazilian = thumbs up. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)
