I had trouble finding someone in RI willing to hang wallpaper and David worked with what I had, was very detailed in his approach, and hung my paper beautifully without any issue. My wife and I hired Neal's Painting company to paint two rooms and a hallway in our home. We were…read morevery disappointed with the workmanship and cleanliness. Our walls are plaster so there were areas that needed compound and sanding. Their attempts to reduce the spread of dust were minimal. Where most of the sanding was done no floor coverings went down nor any coverings on our furniture. At least, plastic or other covering should have gone over the furniture. Also, there were quite a few areas that paint didn't even touch. They had finished the work at 7pm so we didn't see many of the errors until following morning when the sun highlighted them. Neal offered to fix them but by that time we had just wanted him gone. We were forced to hire Stanley Steamer to steam clean the floors, rugs and furniture. His response to the condition of the house was that he had alot of sanding and it was best he could do in the condition..but we have had two other rooms completed, compound, sanding and painting and did not have the dust left because everything was covered in plastic and drop cloths on all floor surfaces. I don't recommend Neal's Painting and will never use him again for any work at our home.

JCB Painting just gets better and better!…read more After JCB painted our large kitchen almost 10 years ago, we knew he was the real deal - he checked all the boxes: workmanship, quality, timeliness, friendliness, professionalism and PRICE - it was all there and our kitchen looked fantastic (and still does!). We knew who we'd call for the next paint job. A few years later we asked Jeff to paint our master suite after we upgraded it with French doors and a wide window - and again, he wowed us with his excellent delivery of value-added sage advice, a detailed and budget-pleasing quote which included master touches such as taking care of faded switch plates and meticulously detailing the window and door frames and hardware, and a finished product that makes us proud to own this home. Well worth the price we paid! And once again, Jeff has recently amazed us with his painting of our guest suite, which included removing 20-year old textured paint and border and perfecting a patch where once a window AC had been - and it is simply beautiful. JUST DAMN GORGEOUS. Over the years we have owned this home, we've had many contractors - from electrical to plumbing to hardscaping and more - and Jeff's professionalism and excellent work stands out head and shoulders above them all. If you want top-notch quality from a tried and true professional painter who cares about his craft and leaves delighted customers like us wanting more - give JCB a call for your next interior paint job. Trust me, you'll know you made a great decision in choosing Jeff. And you'll never want anyone else to paint your home.
