I was assured i would not get a parking ticket by the sales rep Valentino.
Valentino told me he would sort it all out, and that i wouldnt have to do anything other than leave him with my registration.
I was in the process of moving at the time, I have just been back to my old address and found debt collectors are after me for a £170 parking charge.
I called furniture village and spoke to the manager who refused to pay the fine, even though he admitted that he can see the vehicle registration number on the order and that it was not actioned by Valentino as it should have been.
The manager was even acting like it was my fault!!
Absolute negligence and no responsibility taken by furniture village, what a shame that they care more about the sale than the customer.
Learn from my experience, go to Farnborough if you need something from this shop.
EDIT: I called up again and asked to cancel the order, at which point the manager decided to take responsibilty for the mistake and refund me £170 to cover the parking charge.
I guess that they would be making in excess of £170 commission for the £1800 order, regardless, this issue is resolved.
