I went to this store on 03/29/26 to window shop especially since every window and wall had a huge "CLOSING SOON EVERYTHING MUST GO" sign on it. I tried to get a 88$ mirror down to 40$ a 105$ chair for 40$ and a shelf that was 250$ down to 150$ now i admit im shooting really low but there was maybe 3 other couples in this huge store so i thought they'd be giving everything away. Lowest they could go was 20% off everything- thats 64$ for the mirror 84$ for the chair and 200$ for the shelf, so they asked for 347$ and instead got zero! The place has alot of nice furniture however, the sales associate was rude. We wanted to only buy the bed ,which there are signs all over the store that have the price break down of the pieces separately. The lady let us know she was watching us on the camera and knew what bed we were looking at and told us she would only sell to us as a set only. The value of the deals are overshadowed by profiling factor of the staff. So now I understand why it was so much furniture in there because the staff would rather watch you on camera than treat you with respect to make an actual purchase, NEVER AGAIN ! read more

My husband and I went to buy a bedroom set for my son and found the perfect modern style and good quality piece. Before buying we went across the street to a couple of other furniture stores just make sure it was the right one at the best price. This exact bedroom set was also available in another store and on Overstock.com but Furniture Mall offered us at the best price! We had delivery scheduled for a couple weeks later to match our move in date to our new home. I had to call in myself to confirm the time and date of delivery, but they DID deliver on time exactly as promised Saturday b/w 3-5pm. Another thing to mention is how awesome the 2 delivery guys were at setting up the furniture and didn't leave one scratch on our walls. Furniture Mall is a huge showroom filled with traditional and contemporary pieces directly across from Gwinnett Place Mall on Pleasant Hill Road. They are always having sales and everything is priced between several hundred to several thousand dollars. Quality is noticeably questionable for some of the less expensive pieces. Children's furniture, lamps, bar stools occasional chairs and other accessories are also available at Furniture Mall. Based on my furniture preference I was only in Furniture Mall for about two minutes because they didn't have that many modern pieces and I didn't see what I was looking for. If it came down to it I would have only purchased the leather and glass dining table set, however it doesn't match my current decor. This is one of those stores you go to for gazing as it can be hit or miss and you never know what they'll have on the floor. read more

BUYER BE WARNED!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. Wish I had read these reviews prior to purchasing. The store manager, Anthony will say anything to make a quick sale. He sold me furniture under false pretenses. On Saturday, I paid for a bedroom set he promised would be available for pick up on Monday. I waited the entire day and NEVER received the call, when I followed up, I was told by the cashier that it would not be available until Wednesday (I called numerous times to reach a live person, the line was constantly busy!). I immediately asked for a refund and was told that I would be fully refunded once I came in the store so that my credit card would be swiped for a refund. When I walked into the store I went straight to the cashier's desk for my refund. They immediately radioed Anthony to inform him that I was in the store with a refund request. As he approached, I could see the stress in his face. As I attempted to explain that I needed the bedroom set today, he immediately informed me that I would be charged a 35% restocking fee plus 3.5% credit card fee (for merchandise he did not even have available). He started yelling at the cashier "charge him now!" The cashier seemed intimidated and began following his orders. Anthony, store manager, seems soft-spoken and mild mannered but he is a wolf in disguise. He seems to run the store with an iron fist where the workers are afraid of him. Do yourself a favor and do not purchase from Funiture Mall on Barrett Parkway ( next to Michaels and Best Buy). Anthony is completely unqualified to be a store manager and have proper customer relations. Everything seems so cheap at first which makes you want to buy. I recently bought a sofa and dining table from them expecting to receive it on Fridays delivery with a 2-9 window (who gives out a 7 hour gap????) THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I waited around all day and called them a few times and the lady on the phone decided to have an attitude back with me saying "there are other people in front of you" and they never showed up. The furniture here is of good quality but the service and staff are not. I bought a dining room set from here and paid what I considered to be an outrageous delivery fee of $89. The "fun" began at that time. I was in the process of moving and was having the furniture delivered to my new house. I had to arrange to be there so they could drop off the items. I was given a reasonable window of 3-5 in the afternoon so I made sure to be there for that window. At 6:00 I had not seen or heard from anyone, so I called the store. I was told they were running late but would be there by 6:30. 6:30 came and went and I never heard from the delivery people or the store. I called the store and didn't get an answer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited till 8:30 before calling it a night. About 9:30 that night I got my first phone call from a representative of the store asking if they could deliver the furniture at that time. Since I wasn't on property we agreed to deliver it the next day, same time window. They missed the same window by over an hour and to make things worse, three of the chairs were of a different height and had to be returned. I was promised they would deliver them on friday of that week. Friday delivery window came and went. When I called the store, they told me they had to order them and that they would call and let me know when they came in. Two weeks went by and I still hadn't heard from them, so I called and asked to speak with the manager. I explained the situation and told him that I think I should be given my money back for the delivery charge since they still hadn't delivered all my furniture. He told me that if I wanted to come to the store and pick up and assemble my own furniture, then he'd give me my delivery fee. Since I have a small car that was not a real option for me and I told him so. He said that if he had to deliver the three chairs that I wouldn't be getting any of my money back At this point I was being basically held hostage so I asked him to deliver the rest of my furniture. He told me the next delivery slot was on a Friday and refused to expedite my situation even though I had been almost a month and I still didn't have half my chairs for the dining set. Once again, I was handcuffed into agreeing to his timetable. When they finally brought the other three chairs, one of them had a bad machine crease on the leather and I asked them to send it back and deliver another one. Two weeks later I finally got my last chair. I was treated poorly by the manager and staff of this store. I feel as if they were dishonest about their timetable for delivery and they were unprofessional in the handling of every problem that had arisen. I bought a dining room table and six chairs for a total of $411.28. If you're thinking to yourself that this is "too good to be true" then you're right. Six months later, three of my chairs are broken from absolutely normal use. In fact, I live alone so they get very little usage. Trying to talk to them about it was sheer frustration. I bought 3 sets of furniture and paid for them and scheduled a delivery. The day of the delivery the driver REFUSED TO MAKE THE DELIVERY, stating that it was too hard for him and he would not do it, aside from his unwillingless to do the job he added that I should live at a better place and that according to him I had not paid enough for the delivery that he was making. After the delivery man left, I called the Duluth store and spoke with "an Assistant Manager" and he rescheduled the delivery. I call back on the day of the delivery to confirm the delivery and the sales man who initially sold me the furniture said he was not able to resolve anything and told me the furniture would not be delivered because "the drivers were pissed off". I don't understand how low the level of management from this store is, but these people where not able to get their drivers to make a delivery. I requested a full refund and I was told I had to pick up a check even though I paid with a credit card. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I have witnessed. If you can avoid buying from this place, you will save yourself a headache and having to witness the greatest level incompetence. read more

I had bought a dining marble table for 2k on a Sales person's recommendation that the piece is unbreakable.I had told these guys to make sure that BEFORE the furniture gets delivered - to triple check it's not broken. Bought bedroom set for my daughter in July 2010. Desk and footboard came defective with cracks. When contacted the owner, he was very root, but agreed to replace the items. The second desk was even in worst condition, but the owner refused to replace it, stating that "it cost too much for him to deliver it." Never received any compensation for defective products. I went to the Duluth store thinking we had found a deal..I should've known when they delivered some of the furniture I bought from them damaged and had to send it back the same day. Now, after only a little over two months, the queen size storage bed is falling apart and when I called to see what could be worked out, they told me it's over 30 days, they won't do anything. Really!!! It can't even hold the mattress now much less a body on the bed with nails and sharp pieces of wood that are sticking out of it that can harm/cut me or more importantly one of my babies, and I told them this and all they could say was "it's been over 30 days, thank you" and when I said I was going to take pictures and put it on yelp, her response was "ok". The Kennesaw store is horrible. The people are extremely rude and not helpful at all. I was looking for a couch and recliner that I could get within a week. Seeing as I would be sitting on the floor in a few days. They told me I would have the furniture within a week or week and half. That worked well for me. I called on the 10th day to get an update and was told it would be 3 weeks. PLus the girl told me it had only been a few days. I bought them on the 6th and called on the 16th. She basically called me a liar, until I actually made her sit and think about how many days that was. So now I am sitting on the floor or have the option to go out and buy a few cheap chairs. Which just cost more money I don't have, and I have company coming for the weekend. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I can not wait to be done with them. read more

The furniture we got was dirty, definitely used, and they're selling it as brand new. We had to return it more than once, and we finally gave up because the quality and service was so low. And also, the managers and the workers were VERY rude. All the workers were super rude, but there was especially one worker that continuously glared at us. This store location in Kennesaw is by far the worst furniture company I have ever dealt with. The franchise overall is HORRIBLE!! We ordered a breakfast table and they sent the wrong chairs to begin with. They refused to pick them up and they said that they would charge us a delivery fee if they did pick them up...even though it was their fault. We dropped them off and they re ordered the chairs and said they would arrive 2 days later. They ordered the wrong chairs and re ordered the "correct" chairs. After a week of calling them every single day, they said the company doesn't make the "right" chairs for that specific table. They didn't even have the decency to call us to inform us. All we can do now is exchange the whole set for a new one and pay the difference. Basically, they said we can't return it because of their so called strict policy of ripping customers off and we would have to pay a new delivery fee all over again because of their careless mistakes. We had the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer at the Furniture Mall. We purchased a bedroom set in mid-November and JUST received our furniture. Furniture originally delivered part of our bedroom set (bed, dresser and one night stand) on our original delivery date. We were told the chest and other night stand were cracked and new ones would be delivered the following week. For the next four and half months we were continually lied to and mislead. Each week we would be given a delivery date and when we would call the day before to confirm they would tell us that actually the furniture hadn't been delivered. They refused to give us a refund. Never once did they apologize or try to do anything to improve the situation. The general manager was extremely rude to me and said he only wanted to deal with my husband. When I addressed our concerns and problems and our long wait he told he they would offer us $50 off our next purchase of $1000 or more. Finally last week our furniture was delivered. I can absolutely say we will NEVER shop at The Furniture Mall again!!!!! read more

I recently purchased a livingroom set (couch, loveseat, recliner). Pricing was right and sales staff friendly. Fairly quick delivery, with the items arriving just 4 days later. This is where my good experience ends.... We found minutes after delivery that the loveseat recliner had a factory defect in the recliner mechanism. Furniture mall promptly ordered a replacement, and promised to call back with delivery ETA. No call was received. Days later we called to schedule, meeting a friendly receptionist who promptly scheduled delivery for the next day. Delivery day comes... No call, no show despite our calling in to note the late delivery. I even was placed on hold and the call dropped with no answer thereafter. The next day we called back and spoke to a manager who of course was very sorry. He promised delivery between 5:30 and 6pm that night, noting that the delivery drivers got "confused" the day prior. Again, no show on delivery. This time I went to the showroom to discuss. I witnessed the sales staff and delivery staff arguing over the phone. At one point the delivery driver mentioned that I, the customer, was lieing and that they attempted to deliver but could not get through the gate (note that my gates were experiencing problems at the time and had been open for days as a result). It was clear that the sales staff was trying hard to make this happen, and they have no control over their delivery service. I was offered my delivery fee to be refunded and a call from the district manager the next day who would resolve this issue. Day 3 of delivery debockle... Receive a call from the District manager, who of course is apologizing profusely. He promises me first delivery that day and that this WILL happen as he himself is following up in this. All good and fine, but at this time, their word is no longer giving me any comfort. I request a call by 3 pm to follow up if the delivery happened (he promised delivery between 2 and 3 pm). 3pm rolls by. No delivery. 3:15 no call from the district manager. I call @ 3:20, district manager is busy with other customers and he will have to call me back. I again head to the showroom. Upon arrival, I see the DM working with a customer, and I continue to wait for 20 minutes for him to free up. After he is free, he mentions that the delivery is happening as we speak. I call home to validate and he is correct, however the driver is attempting to REPAIR the furniture vs replace it. The DM begins making excuses and finally I demand replacement and that he call them to make sure it happens. He complies. In the end, the furniture was replaced, my delivery charge refunded. I did see the sales guys working hard to make this right, however did offer alot of BS excuses to cover for their weak delivery team. The only fault I see is that the sales team did not follow through on any of their promises to monitor the delivery or even call back as they had committed. I have this very candid feedback to the DM who thanked me as if it were a compliment. I do recommend Furniture Mall due to pricing and friendly sales, however, pick the items up yourself. It was clear that the delivery service was the issue in my case, and sales were simply left holding the bag. I recommend Tony, Paul (DM), Cameron, and Bridgette assist you, as they all played a significant role in making my delivery happen, despite the mess as detailed above. read more

I really don't know why this place is still open. My friend purchase a dinette set that was never delivered. When he called to inquire about it he was spoken to very rudely and unprofessionally. He was told by the lady at the delivery service to go back to the store and get his money back because they were not going to deliver his furniture. He waited all day for them to come. When he returned to the store to get his money back the staff acted like they could care less. No one apologize for the inconvenience. OMG..THE WORST!!! I bought a sectional and ottoman for a great price. I bought the items online and paid for delivery. I get a phone call from the dispatcher and set up a date and time. The night before I get a call saying the truck driver won't be in and we can set up another day. My husband had already taken off from work and so I was upset that it wasn't going to come on the day it was promised. The dispatcher goes on to say that I live too far and that I should come in and pick it up. That wasn't going to work for me. Delivery was then setup for Saturday. I call Friday afternoon and I get the same person and she is unapologetic and rude. Doesn't care what was promised, told me I had bought a promotional item and that she really wasn't making any money anyway so I could either get a refund or come pick it up. The rental of a truck cost more than the delivery charge and I ended up losing money. I did not trust them to deliver and certainly didn't trust them to refund my money.. This store is receiving a rating of 1 because there is no zero. I purchased a desk a month ago from Furniture Mall in Duluth, GA. One month later, I have not been contacted, my credit card was charged and the person who refuses to identify themselves on the phone hung up the phone twice when I asked to speak with the manager. Two weeks ago, I called to ask about the desk. I was told that the person responsible for the sale was not there and they could not tell if my product was delivered to the store or not. They were supposed to contact me, but two more weeks passed and still no correspondence. Stay clear of this store. They give you the option to choose you're preferred shipping date, but do not inform you about the status of your order or the fact that you're furniture might be on back order and they don't know when they will get it. I spent 30 minutes arguing with Bill Johnson on the phone (who has a bad rep with all the other employees and corporate office)! He was very rude, couldn't give me answers, and wouldn't let me talk to the manager or anyone else.
