There is a popular group that all my friends use, but they don't take my insurance, so I was adrift for a while and could pretty much write a list of doctors you'd want to avoid in the Hinsdale/La Grange area. Dr. Lin was the fourth doctor I've seen in the past two years, and he has been absolutely excellent in helping me deal with a long-term chronic issue. I have never had a doctor take so much time and care in listening to me and answering my questions. He is absolutely outstanding, and I would recommend him to anyone. I also get right in and out when I have appointments with him--never kept waiting long.

So I was panicked to find another of such excellent within the MacNeal system. I thought I would have go to a different hospital altogether especially after Loyola and MacNeal merged. However, in my searched, I stumbled upon Miracle in Dr Porto's office. From the moment Miracle answered my call, I knew this was the right place without a doubt. She took the time to answer all my questions professionally and accurately. Then she worked diligently with me to find me an appointment because Dr Porto was extremely booked up. Miracle's caring, kind, upbeat, charismatic personality was infectious. She represents that office with such efficiency and humility. That first impression confirmed that this would be my new OB/GYN doctor. Consequently, I had every reason to believe that Miracle was an extension of Dr Porto...and I was right. On June 7th, I had my first appt with Dr Porto and she was amazing!!! I felt as though she were always my doctor. She took the time to get to know me and my medical history, answered my every question and concern, explained everything she did during my exam and why, gave me sound health advice and information to make my life easier. Excellent bedside manner!! I met Dr Porto and Miracle for the first time that day...even got a bonus and met Angeles at the front desk. I left that office feeling like I met long lost family. Dr Porto even called me personally to give me my test results! I am soooo please with this fantastic find. I just had to write this review. MacNeal is a great hospital. I would have gone elsewhere if it weren't for Miracle reeling me in with her customer care. These 3 ladies have heart. Thank you for having them on your team. Loyola inherited 3 great assets from MacNeal. Please acknowledge these ladies' importance to Loyola. I don't want them to leave anytime soon. I will definitely follow them if they do.

When my partner and I began seeing her as we started our journey to becoming parents, she was so sensitive to our needs and to our story. She showed genuine interest in us and in my partner becoming pregnant. When my partner did get pregnant, it felt like Dr. Quinlan was now a part of our new family, she was that excited for us and shared so much in our joy and excitement. She was attentive and available to us every day of our pregnancy and of course she was there for the delivery of our baby boy. A month later I hear back that I need to go back in because somehow my tests were invalid and needed to do it all again. That was pretty frustrating but I let it pass. Second annual visit I waited 75 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. Clearly they overbook and when I asked when I'd be seen I got a flippant "oh she's very booked." I was very upset I had to take off extra time from work because this office can't manage an appointment schedule. Additionally I filled out at least 7 pages of medical information and still got asked for most of that information when seeing the nurse. What was the point of filling it out then? Aside from the horrid office management, the office itself and the exam rooms are a bit run down/beat up looking. Also by the time I saw the doctor she told me I didn't need to come every year but her front office just say I have to. Ugh. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

This is for the OB/GYN medical group which includes Dr. Multack and Dr. Ardakani. I recently had my baby at this hospital on the july 26th and was told to come back for follow up after 2 weeks with any of the group's doctors. I come back today having to find a babysitter for my newborn and my husband had to take time off work to drive the 45 minutes to get here. I made the appointment with Dr. Ardakani. The nurse tells me they don't do 2 week follow ups and to come back in 4 weeks. Why couldn't they tell me that on the phone when I made the appointment? This is just the last screw up from them since I will never go back. Staff is grossly incompetent. Back when I got my gestational diabetes screening test I was told by Dr. Ardakani that if I didn't hear from them in a few days then the test came back with good results. I did not hear from them so figured all was well. I hear back after more than 2 weeks to come back and do another test after assuming I'm in the clear. They never call me back after I do the second test and I have to bother them for it. Everything was fine but if I did have GD that was time wasted not getting treatment. Then with my last appointment with Dr. Ardakani she basically needs to leave the office in a hurry mid appointment to deliver another baby. I'm left sitting in the room and no one comes and tells me anything for a half an hour and I finally get up and ask the nurse what is going on and she apologizes and obviously totally forgot about me. If I ever I have another baby I hope my prenatal care will be much better in the hands of a different doctor, staff and hospital. I had to get this out there because they were just repeatedly careless and they need to be retrained or replaced.

For thirty five years he was the epitome of calming and always available for a consult, that all changed once his son joined him. It became Impossible to have any contact with him. My appointment came and went like it never existed. When I called I was told it would be 300 dollars cash for a vist with Dr. Magdy. How ironic that some of the staff who in some cases were not born when I first started seeing Dr. Magdy now turned the atmosphere into something uncomfortable and unrecognizable.
