The only thing that threw me off was it was described, or at least I thought it was (there may have been a drink or two before this) as a cat bar so I thought cats would be roaming around. Honestly, I wondered how safe that was and what if people don't want cats crawling around them. It made a lot more sense when I got there and realized you had to pay to visit the cat den. It was just a back room with a bunch of cats, but the nice thing is that they donate those funds towards animal charities. Personally, I don't care enough about hanging out with the cats so I skipped that part, but otherwise they played great music on a Tuesday. The bartender was awesome too that night. Very friendly. We had a great little chat and then I promptly noticed a high heel shoe chair and made my coworker shoot a pic of me sitting on it. Big fan of the kitch!

Their hours are perfect for people who want an exciting thing to do at night but with chill vibes and even chiller cats. They have a limited selection on drinks but they are always fast. And they host some pretty cool events here from paint nights to cat yoga, recently they held a tattoo event with a local shop. Super fun and totally worth the visit.

My husband and I were in the shopping center on a Sunday waiting for our to go food. When we walked in, there was a sign in desk for people with reservations, I informed the young lady at the desk that we were only there to browse and we did not intend on purchasing a puppy. The amicable hostess told us it was totally fine to look around and to let her know if we wanted to play with any of the dogs. They had a small selection of toys and grooming items, nothing impressive. I'm a dog lover and knew if I held any of the pups I would want to take one home , so we just observed through the window. While we were observing, I noticed 1 dog in a cage with 3 others being attacked. Everyone said they were playing but they kept going for his neck, and he wasn't even defending himself... it broke my heart to not be able to help and put him in a different cage. We also saw a cute min Schnauzer with tons of energy in a cage with another breed who was either very tired or very sick. All the dogs looked like they could use a bath and none looked happy. Prices were not listed and I didn't bother to ask since pet store prices are historically high. If I was in the market for a puppy and wanted to know the lineage I would go to a breeder. It is not clear where these random dogs come from and even what they are mixed with. In my opinion, these dogs are not much different than the ones you would find at the Humane Society, other than the price. We left Petland Puppies feeling sad for the canines, hoping they all find a forever home soon.

We scheduled time online (during the week it's $10 for 50 mins, weekends its $13). We found it in a strip mall close to Perry High School and the Post Office. We walked in and it is definitely a little cafe. Lots of drink options, even alcoholic! My sister got some coffee, my mom got water, and I got a light beer from Falls Brewing. It was really cute with a space devoted to vendors that sell cute cat products (for humans AND cats). Around the ceiling are names of cats that they've found homes for (at the time we went it was at SIXTY!). When it was our time, we entered another room with all of the cats! (This room is visible to the outside AND the inside of the cafe. But you have to purchase time to visit, pet, and play with the cats.) I think there were 18 cats...but not to worry, it was VERY clean and there were no smells. Most of the cats were friendly, but there were a few that we were asked to let them come to us. It was so much fun. There was such a wide variety. All ages. All colors. All temperaments. I truly believe anyone could have found a pet there. Alas, this day we were only there for FUR THERAPY and let me tell you, it was worth it. We will definitely return when it's time to adopt a new cat!
