Renting 100 folding chairs for our weekend event from Funtastic was great from start to finish: Getting our chairs reserved and taking our payment ahead of our event was easy in-person at the business. The warehouse guy on our Friday pickup was super friendly and very helpful loading the chairs into our cargo van. The chairs we received were clean and in good condition, and all the folding mechanisms worked flawlessly. The guys in the warehouse on Monday were courteous and efficient at unloading the chairs from our van. Not sure how they have such great reviews. My sister had her wedding a couple weeks ago and it was so, so bad and unprofessional. Here are some bullet points to sum up why you should not hire them and our experience with them: -poor communication -arrived 1.5 hours late from scheduled time -untrained staff that couldn't tell that the tent was color coded (we could've built it ourselves) -told us 2-3 hours to build when it took 7 hours so everyone that was scheduled to help decorate and/or build anything else was incredibly delayed and had to stay late the night before the wedding -incredibly rude supervisor -forgot the generators?!?! then had to go back to get them (how?!) -quoted us for 4 tent fans but only provided 2 (on an 80+ degree day with 85 guests) Highly recommend finding someone else to provide tent service. read more

They were late! And had to call the manager to come and help because they forgot stuff and didn't know how to properly set the tent up.

Take your money elsewhere. They do not care about your event or take responsibility when they mess up. It might be extra $ elsewhere but trust me when I say I would have paid the extra grand if I'd known how awful this company was to work with. read more

Great service and very easy people to work with. I rented a few tables from them for a party at my house for the weekend. Pick up Friday, event was on Saturday and return was expected on Monday. No no no. I can't believe a business runs this horribly! I came to pick up my items and there was no one there. We had to call, wait, and come back for them to show up during business hours. We tried to drop off the items and no one was there. I had to just leave everything by the door. This business is not reliable at all. I even confirmed the pick up and drop off during booking via phone and email. I wish I had had a 5-star experience as it was already such a busy weekend! read more

I truly wish I had a more positive review to write... We had a great experience quoting and reserving everything with Funtastic Rentals during our planning phase. I spoke with Andrea several times as we nailed down what we needed and she was extremely helpful. Then came delivery day...I hadn't heard anything from anyone the day prior so I called around 11:30 to check and see what the ETA was since we were told our delivery would be there early afternoon and we wanted to ensure we cleared a spot for the truck. I was told that the delivery window was 9am-7pm which was NOT what I had been told, nor was this in the contract. When I expressed this, the manager told me they would try to get to me earlier. The truck arrived within 2 hours of the call and we were excited to get everything set up. However, they did not pack everything that was in the order and realized they did not have all the pieces to put up the tent we ordered....so they left and returned with the truck not once, not twice but FIVE different times trying to get all the parts they needed to finish putting this tent up. The young men working on this had both been working at the company less than 2 weeks and I don't fault them at all but there was absolutely no supervision to ensure the truck was packed appropriately or that they had everything they needed for the order. We waited hours for this to be put together, delaying our rehearsal, delaying our ability to set up and decorate the inside of the tent, and ensuring we all had a late night the night before our big day. On one of the trips, the manager showed up but did nothing but walk around with his hands on his hips and made no attempt to come talk to any of us and tell us what was going on or how they were going to make it right. The chairs arrived dirty and we ended up setting them all up ourselves since the truck would disappear and all the workers with it. They also never followed up with us after the event.
